Real Divers

Real Divers is a British family run PADI 5 STAR dive center, we run daily dive and snorkeling trips as well as all PADI courses to the Pattaya Coral Islands and Samae San Islands. Real Divers offer the best and easiest option for first time divers who would like to do the PADI discover scuba diving experience or PADI Open water course. The trips start with a 9.30am pick up from your hotel; included in the trip is Professional supervision, 2 dives, rental, lunch/fruit/drinks, photo's (GoPro4), DSD wall chart certification of completion and pick up and return to your hotel (3pm). We run the trips in our 12 metre twin engine speedboat so the time spent to the Islands takes 20 minutes instead of an hour plus like the big boats. We can also pull right up to the beach bay and put the equipment on in shallow water instead of putting the equipment on and jumping into deep water and have 200 metre surface swims to the beach such as on the large boats. You wil get to dive on a shallow coral reef and see colourful corals and marine life and a great chance of seeing large turtles. After years of teaching this experience and courses we know we have the best and easiest Discover scuba diving or Open water course in Pattaya, get in touch with us by e-mail we also offer group discounts

Real Divers is the Real Deal! A team of international diving instructors who catered to our every need. I’m have an open water PADI certification but had been out of the water for a while. Real Divers took the time to ensure I was back “up to speed” and ensured my safety while diving. I was travelling with three friends who had never been diving before, and just wanted to see what it was like to experience the under-water world on a discovery dive. A 15-minute ride on a jet boat to the dive site with no hassles. All equipment prepared and double checked to ensure our safety. Real divers provided us with lunch on our return to the dive shop and pictures of the underwater experience. We didn’t have a lot of time to waste while in Pattaya, and I chose the number one rated dive shop on Trip Advisor, and that was Real Divers!

The Underwater World around ten kilometres along Sukhumvit Road from South Pattaya. It was our first visit to a controlled open aquarium hosting numerous marine ecosystems in their natural habitats. The 105 metres long undersea tunnel was divided into four major aquatic zones namely – Coral Reef Zone, Shark and Stingray Zone, Giant of Siam Zone and Jellyfish Zone. Though the entry tickets were quite costly (THB 500 per person), yet we enjoyed a lot indeed, especially the Shark (at 3.30pm) and Sting Ray (at 4pm) feeding sights were like a lifetime experience. It took us more than two hours to complete our walk through the underwater tunnel.

Great massage, talented specialist massage therapists in a wonderful, old style Thai townhouse (actually 2 shophouses together). Great prices (typical to lower) with new everything, especially the plush leather massage chairs for foot massage. Lovely relaxing music (I put my headset away) and fengshui running water Fountain. So relaxing and friendly. Note it is just off the portion of Thepprassit Road that goes down the side if Silom Complex to the beach. Sa Bai Thong 2 is next to the popular Dick's Cafe Jomtien.

The facility is clean and well looked after and they have a very good selection of cocktails and beverages to serve.

and our reason to build up the museum is unlike pop songs in music departments which provides numerous occasions for people to sing along and participate museums are limited to galleries where general public tends to feel a great distance from. Therefore, we constituted a museum that costumers could easily participate and enjoy. Our museum points out two elements which are Art-tainment and edu-tainment. Thus, the art that actually incorporates with entertainment and academic were assorted into this museum. Art in Paradise is composed of 9 themes. Firstly, an Aqua room tricks individual as if he or she is in a real aquarium. Secondly, a Safari room is drew with full of different animals. Thirdly, a Classic art room contains an edu-tainment element. Moreover, we have Ayutaya room which is the most popular room. Thai room, Egypt room, Surrealism room, and the Dinosaur room which is a younger kids favorite. Furthermore, many people can enjoy optical illusion including a part which makes a giant effect. These 8 sections can be categorized as paintings.Lastly we also added a new section which consist sculpture arts.Thai cultural expressions were made into miniatures called diorama. Therefore, we have total 9 themes.

Dongtan Beach

Reviewed By David B - Rayong, Thailand

For the past many months Dongtan Beach has been subjected to a "beautification and development" project by local government authorities. and today I visited for the first time since its completion.
If this is "beautification and development" then I am a Monkey's Uncle.
The once wide, golden sandy beach has been cut in half lengthwise to accommodate a wide concrete access road, wide concrete paved footpaths, and hideous car and motor bike parks. Rumour has it that the access road is actually to a property that the local government authorities want to further develop.
The old palm trees were removed for this "development" and mature palms have been planted in their place, propped up with log supports until they get over the shock of transplant and start life in their new venue.
I notice other reviewers give this development the thumbs up. Well, not for me thank you.
I prefered to walk along the old narrow footpath to reach my favourite spot on the beach, and not have to compete with cars driving and parked along the access road, and the ugliest of ugly motor bike parks.
Incidentally, my One Star rating is for this stupid and money-wasting development, not for Dongtan Beach itself, which long-suffering as it is, is still worth visiting.
