Asteras Cruises

A wonderful daily cruise with BBQ to the north-east coast of Corfu island

Reviewed By Quality-Pro - Amsterdam

I may have tried a lot of different experiences but nothing can compare a day on board Asteras. I will definitely do it again and again...every single time is another moment of pure happiness and when I leave I only long for my next dream cruise with captain Telis. It has to do with his unique and generous personality : he used to work for Club Med and it certainly shows in the way he entertains his flock.... ( explaining in all these many different languages, including Russian!). Leaving from Dassia, he takes us all along the beautiful North-East coast through Barbati, Nissaki,Agni, Kouloura and Saint Stefanos to an heavenly cove where the most unbelievable & huge barbecue is being served. No wonder he keeps the secret of that incredibly tasty meat, local sausages and special salad dressing....2 hours of pure pleasure swimming in crystal clear waters... another stop in the picturesque village of Kassiopi : time for wandering around and a " Frappé" on a Terrace of the little harbor....then another dream stop diving and swimming in the blue caves....Heading back to Dassia, you just feel gifted with hospitality, beautiful scenery, music, laughs, great food , wine and Ouzo....and grateful to captain Telis, his caring charming wife Marilena and the dedicated crew, very nice guys. I' ll be back....soon....

Corfu Mountainbike Shop

Cycle Tours and Holidays, shore trips for cruises, private group tours, self-guided cycle holidays

Took an excursion with Holland America that included 20-25 bikers. Bikes were Giant Mountain bikes, which were well maintained. Our excursion included water, wine, bread, cheese, fruit. Napoleon was our tour guide leader from the bike shop. Climb went from sea level up a mountain. Ages of riders were 30's and up, male and female. I was probably the oldest at 65 years old. Great cardio workout and adventure included stops for scenery and tasting herbs along the way. Enjoyed it and recommend!

Malibu Summer

We arrived at our hotel down the road, and within an hour realised that it was terrible; full of loud, drunken idiots, and poor facilities. We needed to find a new base for our holiday.
We found Malibu on the first afternoon of the holiday, and pretty much stayed there for the duration. The pool was immaculately kept, and the atmosphere was incredibly chilled. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was tremendous. The drinks were a little expensive, but we didn't mind as we felt we were paying for the surroundings as well.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue. Whether it's as a couple, a group, or an entire family, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything better around.

Dassia Beach

Reviewed By robertred2017 - Sheffield, United Kingdom

The sea is calm and warm in the shelter of Dassia Bay. You need to go many metres before you are out of your depth which makes it ideal for youngsters and for games. Plenty of lounger, beachside bars and restaurants. The only downside is the shingle beach and very stony immediate shallows as you enter the water. There is a necessity for some sturdy shoeware to get into and out of the sea.

Tartaya Cocktail Bar

We spent a great weekend in Corfu. During our short break (4 days) we went around the island and visited several bars. Tiki bar is an outdoor bar surrounded by tropical trees and plants. Very trendy decorations. They have great bartenders (Mike was our favourite) and Djs. It stays open until late and attract a very good crowd. We went to other bars in Ipsos and dassia but we ended up at TIKi bar as it has a special atmosphere and touch. We will def come back again!!!

Dassia Ski & Wakeboard Club is a professional outfit run by extremely nice people. They do there utmost to make sure you have a brilliant time. We certainly did!! Myself, the wife and the 2 boys all tried paragliding and it was excellent. The boys and l had a go on the doughnuts (rings) and that was such an adrenaline rush. They even allowed my missus in the speedboat to take video and photos. 2 days later we went back and the boys went on the fly fish! Check out YouTube. They also do water skiing and wake boarding. You get your money's worth with these guys, 12-15 mins in the air paragliding and same with the rings etc. If you are an adrenaline junkie or simply want to try something new give this a go. You won't be disappointed

A really nice cocktail bar and a huge choice at reasonable prices. The music was 80's & 90's which took me an the missus back to our youth. Lol!! Wasn't many people in there but it was relatively early. Would imagine it would be a good atmosphere later on in the evenings. Worth a visit
