Started the day walking from Paddington to Hyde Park (about 20min). We started at Hyde Park and strolled through this great park. We then headed towards the Domain, which then led us to the Royal Botanical Garden, which then led us to the Sydney Harbour.
Here you can go to the Opera house (left) or we went (right) over to Mrs. Macquarie’s chair/point.
From the point we headed back towards the botanical Gardens and stopped by the art museum for a snack. The cafe was great and just what we needed.
After this we headed back to our place in Paddington.
Was a great day for sight seeing the best of Sydney.

Visitors with limited mobility may only be able to access the uppermost sections of the garden but we're sure you'll enjoy your visit.

Wendy’s Secret Gardens is amazing! She built her Gardens on terraces and in the background we see the city.
The first view I saw was trees and flowers with a view on the Sydney Harbor Bridge.
We explored everything. Everything was planted with care. There were numerous flowers to discover. As well as views and trees and plants.
We spent more than an hour to explore it and we were able to see the outside of Wendy’s home. She did a fantastic job.
Interestingly enough, we saw many young people on the grass.
However, I will always remember this terraced Gardens. Wow!
This is a must see!

With delightful art deco interiors and comfortable Seating, this is a great cinema complex with a number of separate cinemas allowing a large variety of films to be shown simultaneously. We are regulars. Prices are very cheap if one buys a book of ten tickets and drinks can also be purchased to take into the cinema.
The only disadvantage is the INNUMERABLE advertisements through which one is forced to sit before the actual film starts. It's right over the top and with the prices charged the huge additional revenue should not be necessary - or it should be netted off the price of the ticket to compensate patrons for their pain in suffering the mindless advertising.

We had the most wonderful time out on Sydney harbour with Robbie and Monnie celebrating my husband's 30th birthday. Juliet and Tim were amazing to deal with from my very first enquiry. Unfortunately due to terrible weather we were unable to take our sail when we had hoped in November but Juliet an Tim did everything they possibly could to accommodate us at another date. When we finally did get to go the wait was more than worthwhile. Not only were we upgraded to their beautiful larger boat but we felt like royalty the whole time. Robbie and Monnie were incredibly attentive but at the same time gave us enough space to make it still feel very romantic.
We were able to take whatever food and drinks that we liked on board which was fantastic. We also opted for their beautiful seafood platter and enjoyed oysters, smoked salmon, a beautiful salad and they most delicious barbecued salmon and prawns! It was brilliant! We could not have asked for anything more. I can't thank Champagne sailing enough for such a beautiful night. I don't think there are many other companies in Sydney who offer the same service. We are planning on coming back to do it again with friends!

Lovely beach to visit particularly if you have non-swimmers and/or small kids. Water quality is OK but quite variable. Avoid after any rain as there are multiple storm water drains that discharge to the beach right around the baths. Note that the baths are NOT near Balmoral Bathers. There used to be another set of baths (shark nets) near the Balmoral Bathers but they were removed a few years ago. The water quality is generally better at the northern end. Being a fairly swish area the food and parking prices here are eyewatering. The local parking cops are brutal (and they have to be to deal with the locals) so don't risk not buying a ticket. Well worth dropping everyone at the beach and heading away from the beach for free parking.
Public toilets are located in several locations along the beach, some with hot showers.
There are several places around the baths (i.e. the southern end) that have shade from trees on the beach courtesy of some very nice old fig trees.
My tip is get there early (before 8) and get away by about 11 as the hoards descend. Less wind, less chance of getting burnt and much easier to park. Bring your own food and save a small fortune. For the more adventurous snorkelling is OK - particularly beneath the timber decks around the baths where a surprising number of fish (and the odd octopus and seahorse) hide in the shade. If the conditions are good (and there isn't anyone fishing) the snorkel around the "island" is also not bad.
The other thing to note about Balmoral is that it is very protected from southerly and sou'westerly winds when many people would assume that it is too windy or cold to go to the beach. Equally, it gets a bit windy when the northeaster kicks in.

Sydney Park is located in the heart of Sydney's inner West area where it is easy to get to. It is a gem of a parkland with everything you want including beautiful grassy areas, a kids road network with signage, Playgrounds, coffee shop, miles of walking / running paths, bike paths a cycle lane sand learning park. There are three beautiful water ponds found in the park. The cafe is good for having coffee and food on a small menu. Parking area is near by the park.
There is a really nice water feature. This is a great spot to spend hours on a sunny day. This is a surprisingly large park with a lot of free space for children and dogs to run free. You can get a lot of exercise by walking around its perimeter pathways.
It is picturesque and is a wonderful park with dog friendly areas. It is a great place for families and even spending time with friends, couples and dogs. You can take a lot of photos.
The wetlands have quite a range of water birds to add interest to the walk. You can watch a lots of native birds and easy tracks for wandering, jogging or just lying about under a tree or in the sun. With friends, we did lovely walks around the lakes.
There is a large and great playground with better than average equipment and landscaping.
There is also a steep hill to climb in the centre of the park if you want. The views from the two hills located in the middle of the park, give you a 360 degree view of the surroundings. Sitting on top of the hill is fantastic, you see the planes take off, a bit of history in the background with the old brick pits. We enjoyed watching the city from its heights.
The best bike riding track with traffic lights for young learners / kids is fantastic giving insight into road rules etc. It is excellent for school groups, book in a trip to educate what riders need to do and not do in the traffic environment. Many adults could benefit from this information also.
I recommend you to visit the Sidney Park with your kids giving them what they deserve and also you don’t have to keep away your pet dog also.

This is very well organised and everything is done to ensure your safety and comfort. It is not made clear on the website but the suit they give you is worn over underwear (your clothes and belongings go into a locker). They also provide a headset (so that everyone can hear the guide), cap, hanky (!), rainwear (just in case), straps for your glasses/sunglasses. Everything is clipped to the suit for safety. You practise climbing using the safery line before venturing out.
The actual climb lasts two hours. This is not too onerous as there are stops to admire the fantastic views, listen to the guide, ask questions, have your photo taken.
The photos were good quality and good value.
My only criticism is that the cost of the climb is excessive in my view. Having said that, we really enjoyed the experience.

Picked up the Manly Ferry from Circular Key, Sydney. The atmosphere around Sydney harbour is exhilarating and captivating. Took the Ferry to Manly passing the Diamond Princess which was berthed near the ferry terminal. Nice relaxing 30 minute journey to Manly taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. As a local, I do this with the family at least once a month, for a visitor it's must do. There is no better way to see Sydney Harbour then to take the Manly Ferry. Highly recommend this trip.
