We arrived early on a Sunday morning and were pleased to secure a spot in the shade and two recliners for Euro20. The sand was mostly clean though a number of cigarette butts around. The water was very clear, temperate and great for snorkeling with the kids. The beach gets crowded fast and you have to carefully trace a route to get to the water - but there was plenty of places to swim and snorkel. Good size waves and a good amount of seaweed right on the shore you need to wade through to get to the clear waters.
There is a small bar/restaurant right on the beach which serves beverages and food as well as a rental place for sea kayaks.
There were two lifeguards set up.
Seemed mostly local/Spanish on this day.

A lovely place to take a stroll at any time of the day, although we did tend to go just before dinner each night. Lovely views across the bay in peaceful, pleasant surroundings. The water was so clear and clean - one evening we even saw a large octopus near the sea wall.

Utterly moving interior regardless of your religious beliefs with incredible stained glass on view. The Puig has a rich history and strong ties to the Templars (Dan Brown fans take note). I never miss an opportunity to visit when we are holidaying in or near to town. It's beautiful

The place is on the way to Cap de Formentor. It is very easily accessible and definitely more touristic than the cap itself.
When you go there, you will understans why this place is visited by so many people. It just offers mind-blowing views and you will just want to stay there hypnotized and enjoy the nature revealed in front of you.
The whole are is an absolute must see if you happen to visit Mallorca!

This time of year was wonderful to visit because it was not crowded and you could stroll unencumbered and soak it in. Be sure to walk up on top of the wall and visit the bull ring too, Exceptionally clean streets. A lovely afternoon.

Stunning views over the whole area and coastline.
We went on an organised tour stopping at the viewing point for 30 minutes and then onto Formentor for time on the beach, returning to puerto pollensa by boat. If I did this again I would take a taxi for less than 20 euros to Formentor and pay for a single return on one of the boats.

Highlight of the holiday. Booked a Try Dive with Tiin this week. Very thorough especially with safety and full instructions. Added the GoPro underwater photos too - which will add to the memories of this fantastic experience. Caroline and Stefan also very friendly and helpful. Down to the Dive Room to get squeezed into wetsuit, mask, dive vest and cylinder. Little bit of Telly Tubby waddling down to the waters edge. Then suddenly the weight on our backs lifted as we waded into the sea. Lots of instruction and practice submerging and sand kneeling. It was so good we booked a second session and finally our own personal aquarium unfolded in front of us.
Thoroughly recommended.

The 365 steps are exhausting but what a view. 365 one step for each day of the year. Do not attempt if you are in the least bit frail. Take it easy and drink plenty.

We snorkelled in several locations on the island but this was our favourite, loads of different fish but most excitingly an octopus, only a few feet out from the shore, truly magical to see. There is lots of free parking and a great choice of bars and restaurants. Th local lads cliff jump from the point and that is impressive to watch too.

It is a beautiful sandy beach, with lots of space and possibilities for water sports. The water is very clean and generally quiet for being in a bay.
