This place is called 'the balcony of Catalonia', because in a clear day you can see Montserrat and Montseny. The place is great for walking.

Santuari de la Mare de Deu de Queralt

Reviewed By 989perea - Berga, Spain

The Queralt Sanctuary located in the mountain on the city of Berga is an impressive place for different reasons. Its views over the Catalan Central Plain and the origins of the Pyrenees. The nature that surrounds it, clearly differentiated in its North face with pine and beech forest, and the South face with oaks and gilthead trees. Finally the church with the Romanesque image of Our Lady of Queralt, a place of great devotion for the people of the region.. For all this and much more, a unique place.
