May 22, 2021 Marianna Hollaway

Golden palaces, floating markets, majestic porcelain-laid spires…you've never seen a capital city quite like Bangkok. Visit Pratunam or Siam Square for premium shopping, then unwind in the European-style gardens of Dusit. Thon Buri is home to the awesome Wat Arun temple, and over in Phra Nakhon, you’ll find the Wat Pho temple of the Reclining Buddha. Savor mango sticky rice at a food stall before taking in the gilded splendor of the Grand Palace.

A small haven of peace in north Bangkok just 300m north of the busy route 304. The well cared for park with beautiful trees, shrubs and plants is a place to relax and meditate. Clean and modern food and drink is available near the entrance, so a nice place to enjoy a light meal or coffee.

thought we would go watch a movie in Bnagkok and went to the nearest place we could google.Got there and where told tickets are 56 AUD and were quite taken aback but went along anyway. When we went inside we realised this was a first class service,so elegant and stylish. The seats are very comfortable and they are sofa beds.you are also given blankets. There is a mini bar next to the seat with cold beverages including alcohol and a call bell if you need staff.Inside there is a lounge where you can eat snacks and fruit and get more drinks. It was a nice experience but to expensive to do everyday.

Lumpinee Boxing Stadium

Thailand’s best-known boxing stadium hosts traditional Muay Thai matches every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Expect to pay around THB2000 for ring-side seats to the kickboxing-type matches.

Reviewed By Trbleshooter - Sarnia, Canada

Fights start at 6pm-11pm. Basically all the tourists stay ringside. The price for these tickets is 2000B. We found them on there website for 1800B. But ultimately we bought them at the arena from a ticket company right outside where you could haggle for price. We got our tickets for 1800B. Unless your Thai I would suggest ringside. The ringside seats get you access to every teer of seating where ever you want to sit. They also allow access to see where the fighters warm up and you can see them before the fight getting taped and ready. You are also able to take pictures with them and talk with them. Personally it was a great experience we stood right beside the blue corner. The corner guys and teams get right into it with yelling and cheering. The second teer costs 1500B and the third costs 1000B. Honestly it’s a small arena that holds 5000 people. But it was coolest to stay ringside unless you can speak Thai or you wanna bet on the fights then go second or third teer. Beers were 60B. Chips were 30B. But it looked like you were able to bring your own snacks in if you wanted to. Overall the best experience we have had yet at a Thai boxing event!
