a great, large, well organized building. Great for the entire family. great kids section and a great section where you can go into a private small room to do work or class work with friends. PC heaven and the new book section is great. As is the area for large print books.I need that and it is outstanding. They have meeting rooms and classrooms and have special events. This is a true class place.good parking in back. Yes,they have security in case you think it is needed. I never have seen any problems here.

We were visiting family with our toddler. We wanted to visit the beach and this was perfect. Free parking, calm waters, and the entire beach experience. Spent a few hours swimming and playing in the sand. Bottom was a bit rocky, water shoes might be a good idea.

Beautiful spot to spend a relaxing afternoon. There was a brand new pier for fishing, a small beach area and lots of grassy areas to picnic. There is a paved path to walk on to access everything as well as beautiful rocky areas to sit and relax. The most interesting thing was that this was an old amusement park. There are remnants from the old park that you walk around and enjoy seeing for a bit of nostalgia.

Went on a Wednesday morning so it was not crowded. We started on the playground side and loved the view and access to the beach. Playground isn’t huge but my kids enjoyed it. Picnic tables are available as well as a rest room. Free to get in, free to park. Life guard on duty on the beach. Out on the spit is a neat cross current that was fun to play in (be careful of the tides) and there is a great view of the light house. There are lovely benches to sit on and enjoy the breeze. There is a boat ramp and the ability to kayak. I really enjoyed this park.
