This area is amazing. Well worth a trip to visit for several days. We were on a group trip & spent 4 nights. We could have easily stayed a full week & not seen it all. Incredible scenery. Hiking is great.

We have an AirBnB condo on Playa Centenario with the best views possible. We've walked the lakeside down to Playa Centro, where the main pier is located. Today we were able to watch a lake swim. It's about a mile by water, most swam round trip but some exited here. Wet suits of course. The temperatures run 55-59 (f), although the locals swim here. The water is crystal clear and it must be great to have a sail boat or any boat to explore the vast reaches of this lake.

I did a two day hike. Started the hike in pampa Linda. The rood to the starting point is only open in the morning, to go to pampa Linda in the afternoon you can only leave this rood. Narrow rood. In the bezinning the hike is easy. After a few km you started climing. It is 15 km to refugio Roca were you can stay for the night. Naar the refugio you can walk to the waterfalls. They are nice. Large refugio. They serve dinner and you can buy a Packed lunch. If you continue thuis hike you will decent rapidly. You will hear the whole time ICE Breaking from the glacier. Really cool. I think you will see 3/4 glaciers, i think it has in Total 8 glaciers but you cannot see them all. After 3/4 km you walk in the woods. Kind of hard lost of trees on the Path. Not an easy hike. I think most of the people need 5 a 6 hours for the 12 km. Really muddy. The last 2 km are easy. Around 4 you have to take a boot then a bus for 3=km and then an other boot and you will arrive hear llao llao. This part is really good organized. When you have bought your boot ticket , boot can be late the rest is smootly. They take care of your backpack in the harbor of llao llao you get it back. Take a warm jacket with you can be a bit cold on board.

There is no way to describe this tour other than Unforgettable. If you like nature, this horseback riding tour is perfect no matter your experience with horses. They will pick you from the hotel and take you to this wonderful place by the lake sorrounded by forests and mountains. The view is just beautiful and the horses are really friendly and pretty much know the way on their own, so you don’t need to worry about anything. After the ride you will enjoy a typical Argentinian lunch, so what else can you ask for? Our group had an amazing time and we all agree this was one of the best Patagonian tours.

Circuito Chico

Reviewed By AllenR447 - Depoe Bay, United States

We arrived in town early and picked up our rental car but our hotel wasn't going to be ready for a few hours so went on the Circuito Chico kind of by mistake. Great drive on a beautiful early Spring day. The views of the lakes and surrounding area really lets you know why this area is such a hot tourist stop. Tried stopping at the Llao Llao resort to have a look around but they didn't seem to have parking for "lookers." Probably the best stumbled upon find on this little trip was Restaurant Punto Panorámico which had some of the best food and, by far, the best view of the lake. It is a must stop.
