Danube Delta

Reviewed By Elena257 - Timisoara, Romania

This is a place you have to see in your lifetime. It is really like no other, with spectacular water channels, where birds find shelter. Go there early in the morning while birds are still sleeping, take time to stroll across channels, eat in family run business, it is an experience you cannot find anywhere else.

Enisala Medieval Fortress

Reviewed By curlyAda - Iasi, Romania

The amazing views and the history of these ruins makes the trip worthwhile! Located on the top of the hill near Razim lake, it offers spectacular scenery on the entire valley. The walls that are still standing tell the story of a Middle Age military fortress, build (around 1350) at that time on the shore of the Black Sea. We enjoyed a lot the walk up the hill, the views and the small museum with pictures on items uncovered by historians at the site.
