Chiyoda is located in Central Tokyo. This popular ward attracts visitors with views of the Imperial Palace, which takes up 12% of the ward! For travelers who love a good play, this ward houses one of the largest performing arts theaters in Tokyo, which contains nearly 3,000 seats. While you're there, take a walk over the most photographed bridge in Japan--the Nijubashi Bridge--and enjoy the whimsical backdrop, which includes a breath-taking view of the Palace. There on a honeymoon? Try eating out at one of many restaurants located in the Ekimae Plaza Building.

A fun afternoon for learning Japanese calligraphy that was a highlight of our trip to Tokyo. Gained an appreciation of the discipline and artistry required. Wakana is terrific instructor and patiently corrects mistakes (even if like me you repeat the same ones). We combined with the Udon cooking class which was delicious

We contacted Max at Iruka Shuttle to get a quote for a private transfer from the airport to Tokyo. It was so economical and well priced we ended up booking 4 private transfers with the company in advance. We were a little hesitant at first as you have to pay up front, although it is via pay pal so that eased our minds a little. To be honest we wouldn’t hesitate to book them again. Every time we had a transfer due, they were waiting there for us with a sign and our name on it, every driver was very polite and lovely. There was 4 of us so we had the Toyota Alphard which was really lovely inside, leather seats, a good layout, and fitted all our luggage. Max was great to communicate with, even once in Japan he would contact us on WhatsApp the day before to confirm time and place of pick up. This is such a well organised company and it was an economical way of transferring without having to hop on a crowded train with all our luggage and other bits and pieces. We will only use Iruka Shuttle from now on when we are next in Tokyo. You can book with total confidence!
