The wide open places ,natural lakes ,beautiful mountains and endless landscapes keep me coming back over and over again ...Musala (Bulgarian: Мусала; from Arabic through Ottoman Turkish: Musalla, "near God" or "place for prayer" is the highest peak in the entire Balkan Peninsula, standing at 2,925 m (9,596 ft). The summit of the Rila mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria, Musala is the highest peak between the Alps and the Caucasus and the highest in Eastern Europe bar the Caucasus. Very beautiful nature, a lot of things to do like Rila Seven lakes, Rila Monastery, Stobski Pyramides, Borovets Ski Courort and a lot of others. Food in this region is very delicious, people are very nice guestly. But you can see such nature and pure air very rare.

The way to the peak by cable rail for to seats. Spectacular view on your way down. Bezbog - wonderful place for many hiking routs on Pirin mountains, with beautiful mountain lakes. Many local hikers on Saturday. 18 lv for adult both ways. 8 lv for children 4-16 years old

Prohodna a.k.a. Eyes of God is magnificent Cave. It's a very huge and not typical cave - it is actually a huge tunnel that goes straight through a hill. The eyes on its top in the middle of it are really mysterious. If you want, you can climb on the walls.

If you're going on foot: GO EARLY! The trail starts just next to Hotel Mursal in Yagodina village and zigzags up to the top. It took us 1 hour 40 minutes to get up there and we were rewarded with a fabulous view. And NO OTHER TOURISTS! We also had a picnic overlooking the Devil's Path on the other side of the valley (you can catch a glimpse of the besedka at the top with binoculars) and were lucky enough to see a couple of eagles fly past. Magical. TAKE A HAT AND WATER if you're doing it in summer as it's very exposed.

Been going to bansko for 9 years and used method for the 1st time this year. The booking went smoothly and when we got there everything was ready for us. Excellent service every day and very helpful My girlfriend had a private lesson and this was the best she every had. She developed massively both in skill and confidence. Only minor downside was the opening time was 8am. Luckily the gondola queue was never too big but open 15min early would mean getting to the gondola for opening Highly recommended snow school will be booking with method again next season Thanks method see you next year

This was well worth the hour and a half in a coach to reach. The town itself is worth wandering around (avoiding the tourist souvenir street if possible), but the fortress/ rocks were amazing. The geology is what attracts one the most so have decent shoes on so you can walk up to the fortress then up the different levels inside. Give yourself time (if the weather is nice) to explore and contemplate the views from the different levels as well as the eroded columns of the sandstone rocks... and try to get there before or after the school parties

Magnificent nature! The seven Rila lakes are recognized as the most energetic place in the world. Great views from a height of 2500 m. The route is extreme. You need good equipment. The sun is strong and you need sunscreen. Many people visit the Rila lakes in the summer.
