Aurora Spirit is a unique distillery that attracts international attention with its spectacular location. The Lyngen alps, the fjord, the northern lights and the arctic wilderness provide an excellent setting for making whisky and other alcohol products under the brand name Bivrost. The products are based on local herbs, berries and melted glacier water. The northernmost distillery in the world offers guided Whisky tours, Whisky tastings, visits to an old NATO base, bathing under the northern lights and RIB - boat trips under the Lyngen Alps.

With a 60 minute timer ticking in the background, you and your team mates have to solve puzzles, riddles and open secret hiding places in order to complete a mission and escape the room before the time runs out. Do you have what it takes?

Gammelbutikken (The old store) was built sometime in the 1870’s as a general store with all types of goods like food, equipment, clothes, fishing gear and whatever else that was needed in a fishing village on Senja. In addition to being a general store it also functioned as office for the local fish landing factory and shipping agent. The second floor was used as accommodation for fishermen seeking shelter and somewhere to sleep. Today’s furnishing are the originals from 1925 and the store today appears much the same as it did a long time ago. Gammelbutikken today is a combination of museum, souvenir shop and cafe serving baked goods, coffee, drinks, ice cream and old fashioned candy. Variety of handcrafted goods from local Senja artists. The world`s northernmost stone church, dating back to the late Middle Ages (1250). The church is set in scenic surroundings and boasts several treasures and a beautiful interior. Guided tours by appointment available year-round.

The Centre is located alongside Trondenes church on the Trondenes peninsula, a cultural heritage landscape marked by the Viking era, Middle Ages and Word War II. The exhibitiion provides an exiting insight into the history of Harstad from Stone Age to the 1950s. The story is told through a unique multimedia show, featuring vision, music, light and smells. In addition to the pernanent historical exhibitions you are invited to visit Trondenes Medieval Farm. The farm shows the daily life of the farmers during the early 1200s.

The Science Centre offers northern lights planetarium shows every day. In addition there are close to a hundred interactive exhibits where everyone can have fun with popular science, exploring both regional and universal questions.
