St Mary & St Nicolas Church

St Mary and St Nicolas is the historic parish church of Spalding built in 1284. It is open every day for visitors. There are four Sunday services. At 11am and 6.30pm a large choir of boys and men lead the singing.

This magnificent Church Of England Parish Church is outstanding as a place of worship and a very friendly staff of clergy and choir . We came here for the service of Nine Lessons and Carols prior to Christmas and having participated in the lovely music and singing were offered refreshment afterwards with no payment required , just a collection during the service. This is the way to start the Christmas Festival .

We've just enjoyed lunch at Unique Cafe - delicious fresh paninis and strong English tea, with individual tea pots for each of us. The 90 minute allocated slot was ideal. The excellent Covid regulations in place made us feel completely at our ease - will definitely return next week. Well done to Fern and her team. Kind regards Theresa

Museum of Technology the History of Gadgets & Gizmos

The Museum spans that very small period in history from 1830 - 1980 in which the technological revolution took place. The collection traces the progress of electronic and engineered artefacts including telegraphy, telephony, audio, military and civil communications, warfare, photography, scientific and electrical domestic equipment. Many items can be demonstrated including an A & B Telephone and a new exhibit to demonstrate a Military Pedal/Hand Generator. It was used for charging batteries. It has been wired up to a light bulb which can be switched on and off to show how much energy is needed to light the bulb. Kids love to “have a go” so we think this new exhibit will bring a lot of pleasure to both young and old.

Scalextric Racing

Reviewed By justins600 - Bourne, United Kingdom

A balanced review here..... which echoes the good and bad reviews I think. The place is great, our family have been 5 times now. It’s good value for money, the racing is fun and competitive, and the time will fly by. You can pretty much spend 2 hours here and not notice. The tracks have recently been upgraded and new courses put in.... But.... yes the guy who runs it is a bit annoying at times, but he’s enthusiastic and is trying (sometimes badly) to have a laugh with you. Put your frustrations with him to one side and enjoy this place for what it is, a damn good 1/2 day out.

Gordon Boswell Romany Museum

We are a family run museum, started in 1995 by my Gordon and Margaret Boswell. We have a large collection of gypsy wagons (Vardos), carts, harness, along with a collection of cooking pots and related items to our way of life. We also have old photographs of our family from over the last 150 years. We offer a very warm welcome to everyone, from Easter to the end of September, on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays, we also open during the week for groups. If you belong to a group and are looing for a different place to visit then give us a try, a typcial visit takes around 2 hours. Please give us a call to arrange a visit.

Moulton Windmill

Im local to Moulton have been for 18 years and pending. What can i say. This place is a very welcoming village. I always enjoy walking past on a nice sunny day with blue skies. There is a nice cafe inside post covid restrictions and they have been producing their own flour which they supply the local shop with. I have been to the top many years ago and the views are incredible. I remember seeing Boston stump! Im not sure if its still running these.
