Lartigue Monorail

Visit our Monorail Train and Museum. Take a trip back in time and see what the Lartigue Monorail looked like this re-creation of the historical railway that ran from Listowel to Ballybunion between 1888 and 1924. Footage in our film is over 100 years old and gives an insight into the train long ago and then shows the re-making of the Train. Spend an hour or so altogether re-living the past!

We loved Carol’s gallery, we had to go back a second day! Her work is astounding, especially how she can capture the sea and skies in their beauty and enormity. Well worth going to! Bought her book whilst there. We were also lucky enough to meet her on our first day. Such a lovely lady. Well worth visiting!

Highly recommend to everyone that has young children to bring them here ‼️

Really enjoyed the whiskey and chocolate pairing class. Staff were friendly and willing to answer any questions. The whiskeys included were a nice spectrum, pairing them with locally made chocolates was a nice touch. Reasonable priced for what is offered in the class. The only thing I could say that could be improved is the area where it is done is not as private. But I will definitely recommend it to friends visiting Killarney and will be back myself to try even more whiskeys

You will then get to explore our brewhouse, a two-hundred-year-old cowshed, not usually open to the public. Brewing Process... In the brewhouse we will take you through the brewing process, including an in-depth talk about the ingredients vital to the unique taste of Dick Mack’s beers. TASTE... The final part of our tour takes place in the taproom, where you get to sample our award-winning beers and discuss the different characteristics and tastes involved. Sláinte!

Interesting small group tour with lots of samples of their delicious beer, especially the stout. Just a pity the pub hadn't reopened yet when we were there as we really love the bar.

Blennerville Windmill

Myself and my family had such an enjoyable tour of this windmill. We were aged from 2 to 60 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Donal was our tour guide and not only was he a fountain of knowledge he was so funny and great with my 5 year old daughter. The tour is very interactive which keeps it engaging. There are some lovely photo opportunities afterwards of the windmill aswell as a lovely miniature train tracks. Would highly recommend a visit.
