Bermuda National Gallery was established in 1992 and has an historical and contemporary collection to reflect the history and diversity of the Island's evolving demographic. Artworks in BNG's permanent collection include Bermudian, European (for example Gainsborough, Reynolds, Wilson), traditional West African, American Impressionism and photography, as well as sculptures provided for the Queen Elizabeth Park (formerly Par-la-Ville Park) in Hamilton. Every other year, BNG hosts the Bermuda Biennial of Contemporary Art - the current 2018 Biennial is themed "What We Share".
