A lot of people may be disappointed because they are expecting a spa like facility. It doesn't mean that is bad, instead it is a real japanese facility very similar as it was long time ago. You have onsen (rotenburo open ai bath) separated from Ladies and Gentz, each one have a kind of very humble changing room mae by wood with lockers, you need 100 yen but the locker return the money once you insert the key back, don't expect any eating exept from the very hot hotpring! If you want to have a real experience you came to the right place. I came with my bike with the snow and it was a real hot cold fun! you need to bring everything your own don't expect any amenitiy or similar, it is pratically for free, give them some few hudreds for the cleaning and you'll be just fine. you can find a small wooden box just before the entrance of the dressing humble room...When I went the museum was under construction. Higly reccomended!
