This has by far been one of my best trips. I made a lot of amazing friends and the Bootcamp program itself works well with the trainers. The main trainer Jo was very professional and created an amazing atmosphere for the group. My relationship with food and gym has completely changed and one month on I have kept all the positive habits I picked up on my trip. I would recommend Fresh Start to anyone who needs a decent break from the rate race or needs the boost to get in shape and pick up great habits for a healthy lifestyle.

MUAY THAI & KRABI KRABONG TRAINING IN CHIANG MAI THAILAND Train Muay Thai, Krabi Krabong, and Meditation in Mae Taeng, North Thailand.

Excellent martial arts school. I spent 6 months training at the kru pedro school: 4 months of intensive fighting arts lessons and 2 months of internal martial arts. I had never practiced muay thai or Thai martial arts before and i can say that the training was demanding and very rewarding both in terms of krabi-krabong the weapon system and empty hand practice which are complementary. The training of muay thai sangha is structured, clear and efficient. I have met a lot of different and humanly rich people and the group atmosphere of the school is friendly and pleasant: no one is here to judge you, each one arrives with his personality, his experience. The goal being to improve together and become more sharpen. Here you will not be in a big metropolis. The school is located in a village closest to nature which is more suitable to concentrate on training. Kru Pedro is someone very experienced in martial arts through all their components: fighting, internal, spiritual... His wife Kru Tip teaches yoga classes for flexibility, stretching and differents kind of breathing. She is very attentive to the students and her method allows rapid progress in terms of flexibility and relaxition. I learned a lot during my stay here in martial arts and in self-knowledge and i continue everyday to discover the depth of Kru Pedro teaching. A final word on the internal martial arts system that Kru Pedro has designed. It is for me the best system that it is given to me to practice. Concise and practical unlike many internal martial arts teaching but just as energetically rich. This unversal system is truly a great treasure Thanks you kru god bless you and your family.

The ladies here can solve any additional requirements you require and all staff speak english. The training facilities are wonderfully only made better by the trainers who have all fought at one time and are excellent at not only training you but helping with your weaknesses and encouraging you when it gets tough, a special thanks to Boat who helped me with some private lessons on this trip. The camp is in an area of tranquillity with wonderfull walks right on your doorstep into the rice fields and the use of the swimming pool at lunch time to ease the aches and pain from the morning session. This is my second visit and I will be back again soon also helped by the proximity to Chiang Mai which is reachable by taxi for 300 baht yet far enough away to concentrate on the training. You will also meet people from around the world and create new friendships. Bangarang is definately worth the visit

4 hours a day training - 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, sweating like you’ve never sweat before, and discovering the art of Muay Thai is what Por Silaphai offers. Training: Every session starts with stretching and ends with a cool down and in between you have running, pad work, weight training, sparring - which alternate from day to day. You will see people of all levels - from seasoned fighters to fit people going into Muay Thai for the first time to people that want to lose weight or become fit. Pad work is especially helpful as you change trainers each time, and each trainer has their own speciality - one focuses more on power, one on technique, one on combos. Sparring can be intense or soft depending on what level you are at. Every Saturday morning the gym takes the group somewhere else to train - it could be a run in the mountains, a lift to a park with weight equipment, or to the old city to run around. Aftwerards the team heads out all together to have breakfast. Location: a bit off from the old city, but still reachable even by walk - a nice balance between off the touristy part of town, yet close enough if you want to head there. I found everything I needed within a 5 minute walk radius - groceries, restaurants, massage, laundry, cafe. Facilities: The dorms provided by the gym are minimal, but at the same time have everything that I needed. There’s options for mixed dorms, private room, or private twin. I shared a twin room with my girlfriend and we found the room quite spacious and it had an AC and balcony. Environment: Not to mention the people around would be a huge omission. The environment around the gym and the trainings really bonds people together and sharing this experience really creates friends. The owner, Sit, is very accommodating and very fun to train with. This was a great experience for me, and I’m really happy that I spent my time at Pro Silaphai!
