Smart hotel, just opposite the airport

Reviewed By Naniwa

This hotel is right opposite the airport. That said, although not far, it's hard to get to on foot. It would mean lugging your suitcase through the car park, and then along a busy road before crossing that to get to the hotel. Due to the nature of the job I was there to do, I had a driver who took care of that for me, so I am not sure if there's a free shuttle back and forth between the airport... but I certainly wouldn't want to walk it, and definitely not at night. Once inside the hotel, all is good. It's a smart looking place, very modern and functional. Check in was easy to do and within minutes I was up in my room. Not a huge room, but large enough. Crucially it was also quiet. There was a lot of activity at the airport whilst I was there, with flights at all hours. However, these didn't bother me so the sound proofing must have been reasonable. The bed was comfortable, and there were USB sockets to charge up phones and the like. What I don't remember having was a fridge, but I could be wrong. The bathroom was smart and had what I needed. In the reception area there was a bar. I didn't think it was open, but I think environmental considerations means that many lights in Poland switch off more quickly than I have experienced elsewhere. Given both the climate and energy crisis we are facing, this is no bad thing. And as soon as I went to the bar, someone came along to serve me with whatever I wanted (alcoholic drinks or tea/coffee etc). I didn't eat dinner there, but did have both breakfast and a lunch. Quality was good, and although not a huge selection, there was enough there to be satisfied. If you need space for a meeting or work, there were rooms available for hire, too. They are happy to store your luggage after check out as well. I would stay in the hotel again. Staff were efficient and friendly, and the hotel was modern and clean. Food and drink was good for where it was. It's particularly handy for the airport. If, however, you are here for pleasure and to see the town, then note that this is 15 or so minutes taxi from the centre of Rzeszow. Not too far, but probably not ideal if you want to be able to walk around the place and not faff about booking taxis to go for dinner etc.

Wygodnie i smacznie

Reviewed By Przemysław N

The BOREK guesthouse has been operating since 2018. It was built on the route leading from Przemyśl to the Polish-Ukrainian border crossing in Medyka. In our guesthouse there are 10 rooms that can accommodate a total of 20 people. We also have a room and facilities for disabled people. Each room has a private bathroom. All rooms are equipped with LCD TVs, as well as towels and bath cosmetics. The property also has a living room with a fireplace and a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine at guests' disposal. Outside there is a large terrace with sun loungers, tables and a hammock, as well as a barbecue for general use. Next to the terrace, there is also a gazebo with a large lounge suite, where you can indulge in blissful relaxation. We also took care of the youngest and prepared a playground with a mini climbing wall. In front of the building there is free parking for our guests. Our guesthouse is an excellent accommodation and recreation base for transit travelers, as well as for tourists visiting our region. The proximity of many attractions makes the location of the facility very attractive for many guests, because It is located at the foot of the Bieszczady Mountains, in the immediate vicinity of the international Green Velo bicycle route, which additionally attracts tourists on bicycles, for whom we have prepared special parking spaces in our car park. The facility is also located in the vicinity of the Przemyśl Fortress, where there are two fortress rings preserved in very good condition, which is a real treat for lovers of history and military issues.

Very comfortable

Reviewed By lizdavWellingborough

My stay was as short as it gets .. arriving 11pm and setting off at 7am without sampling breakfast. I had a twin room with en-suite. The room itself was basic but brand new and well double-glazed .. the en-suite contained a wet room all completed to a very high standard. No aircon, so window left open to cool the room from where I could hear a dog barking. It didn’t keep me awake as I was exhausted. No TV in rooms may be a problem for some, but there was evidence of TV preparation, so maybe future visitors will benefit from new TVs. Free wifi worked fine. Overall very happy with the stay, but this isn’t a full service hotel.

Lunch

Reviewed By jcmbfla

We went for lunch and to see the grounds. I can not comment on the spa itself, but the premises are interesting. The reception area was clean and "modern" The restaurant was essentially empty. One other table of 4 was occupied and a guy who wandered in and didnt order just sat there. The menu was a not easy to understand and we had someone who spoke Polish at the table. The waitresses were not much more help in explaining dishes. They brought an amuse bouche to the table which was nice. Despite the restaurant being empty it took quite a long time for them to bring the food. The food was all very good. There was an attempt to bring modern cuisine to Poland with some of the sauces and garnishes. It came across as forced. The asparagus soup had so much greenery in it and not enough of the soup which was excellent. The steak was very well done. Prices are high for Poland and the remote location

Beautiful views, nice breakfast, but...

Reviewed By carolinedF330HN

I would return, but in 3-4 years time - the neighborhood is quite picturesque and breakfast table one of a kind, but... 1/ One of the waiters seems to be completely out of place, maybe during some resocialization programme? idk... His manners are far from appropriate and it made us feel confused many times... 2/ The standard of a house/cabin we stayed in was low - way too small hot water container for 7 people, poor garbage bags, too small dumpster, no closets in the rooms, hole in the roof and very small duvets - what if I was a bigger person? Moreover, no blankets. A hole in the roof. The terrace and some heating devices were the advantages. 3/ The service at the reception desk took us for some young savages and threatened us with kicking out of the resort unless we pay the rest of the money, which is unbelievable and completely out of place and leaves us with an unpleasant memory. The resort needs investment and some modern touch, because without it is just a far cry from being an attractive holiday destination.
