Le Case Di San Vitale is located in the historical centre of Ravenna, in front San Vitale Basilic and 100 metres from Mausoleo di Galla Placida. Reviewed By S3730UOjonlOur family of 5 stayed here for one night prior to a cruise departure. The staff was communicative and the rooms and common areas are just as described and literally the cleanest B&B we’ve found in our 5 trips to Italy spanning Roma, Massina, Napoli, e Sorrento. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location is perfection in the centro storico. We could not get enough of this little neighborhood. We absolutely will be back and would love to stay for 2 or 3 nights to take in charming Ravenna.

A Unique Hotel
Reviewed By CosmicWitchA beautiful location and building steeped in history and surrounded by lovely nature. We stayed here for two nights and found it to be peaceful and memorable. The hotel is a labor of love containing artworks, antiques, and assorted strange things beloved by the original owner. The staff are kind and professional. The bed in our room was too hard for my personal taste, which is the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star. Breakfast is simple, but restaurants and shops are very close by. Would definitely stay again.

Odd, gloomy B&B
Reviewed By Lucie MThe rooms are clean, if dowdy. The shower head was broken yet we were able to shower somehow. The house was gloomy... no warm, cozy B&B this! It's as if it's fallen on hard times. It would appear to be run by hired people, and as if the original owner doesn't really care. Breakfast was skimpy - but then, it always is in Italy. We were checked in by phone.... luckily I understood enough Italian to deal with this twist. And at the last minute, on arrival, we were told we had to pay cash - no credit cards. Very odd. On the plus side, it is close to the train station and fairly close to the history downtown of enchanting Ravenna. And it's quiet at night. Too quiet?

Hotel pretty basic for budget price, very good restaurant: good value
Reviewed By grifreTrying to avoid the Ravenna city centre, we booked this place for its private car park and easy access to the city centre by bus. Both purposes were well fulfilled. The quiet village of Madonna dell'Albero is just off the SS71 main road, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is efficiently run, clean but looks rather tired. Our room was pretty small, with the village's bottle bank just beneath our window. Breakfast and reception are quite OK (French and German spoken - some English), helpful staff , e.g clearing up minor incident involving fruit juice and a lady's skirt. The restaurant was very busy on the Saturday we were there, rather less so on the Friday. the menu: very wide choice of authentic dishes (including fish) and pizze, good service, attention paid to allergies and client-friendly advice on wine. Our two meals made our stay more than worth the while

Superb break
Reviewed By Brian SWe arrived being greeted by our fantastic host fabrizia who showed us round the beautiful home . Gorgeous seating area in garden with table and chairs , sun loungers and a hammock to use . Also a nice lounge area with sofa and open fire ( not needed by us as it was 32 degrees when we went lol ) One of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had .. fresh juice , coffee , home made cakes and chocolate moose , home made jams .. FABULOUS!!! We were provided nice wine glasses and corkscrew and enjoyed a bottle of wine each night before walking into the town for dinner ( about 10 minute walk ) Clean shower room , fresh towels and lovely shampoo and shower gels . Would highly recommend to anyone we had the downstairs room but there are also 3 rooms upstairs I think .

Reviewed By Alessio BLa titolare è molto cortese e disponibile a venire incontro alle esigenze degli ospiti. La camera che ho affitatto è spaziosa, pulita e ben arredata, calda e con un letto comodo. La stanza comune dove si fa colazione è molto bella. La colazione è ricca e anche se fatta con soli prodotti confezionati sono tutti di ottima qualità. Il bagno ampio,comodo e pulito. Posizione centrale e prezzo della camera decisamente onesto. Forse, a volere trovare un difetto, la stanza non è proprio silenziosimma ma io ho dormito lo stesso come un sasso.

Ottimo, comodo ed economico
Reviewed By pietroo366Struttura rinnovata, molto comoda alla spiaggia, con possibilità di parcheggio in cortile privato. Nella colazione manca il salato ma c'è buona scelta di torte preparate dalla cucina, brioches, yogurt e frutta fresca. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile ed attento alle necessità del cliente. Per essere un due stelle offre buoni servizi (ascensore, ventilatore a soffitto, aria condizionata, balcone con stendini, cassaforte, wi-fi).

From Ravenna, at 400 mt. from the entrance to Mirabilandia, 10 km. from Cervia-Milano Marittima, B&B AngEli is in perfect position to visit ours beautiful territory and the Stork Village at Fosso Ghiaia!
