The Resort is a beautiful boutique hotel set in the fascinating scenery of the green mountains. There are 3 houses with 7 double rooms within a wonderful tropical garden. It is an ideal place for quiet and relaxing holidays. The resort lies between the beautiful beaches of White Sand and Chai-Chet. Wireless internet is available free of charge. It is only a 200 m walk to the sea and 1.5 km to the main tourist place of Koh Chang, White Sand Beach. Some small restaurants and shops are nearby. The ferry passage from the continent inclusive transfer to the resort lasts ca. 45 minutes. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished and have a bathroom with shower, WC, air-condition, minibar, safe and SAT-TV. Board: European breakfast

The beds are comfortable & you have everything you need in the room. There is a great area outsode to relax or chat woth the owners & other guests. As the pictures can attest this is probably the worst place to stay oj the island. The pool is dirty. Broken dirty deck chairs. No wifi. Noisy aircon. No HOT water rubbisglh piled everywhere. Even in reception.... ? Broken wooden walkways dirty and Mouldly bathroom. Greasy bed linen. Checked out promptly and found cheaper and more comfortable accomodation 1 block away. Much better places just a few steps away. The pictures on their hotels. Com agoda and Expedia are old and dated. Noisy kids in the dirty pool. The receptionist is the cleaner as well. Infested with insects mosquitos crickets and ? geckos

Lakchai resort is a new resort on the beautiful Klong Kloi beach on Koh Chang island in Trat province, Thailand. All of our bungalows are brand new and come with a large comfortable double bed, fan, table/desk, bed side table, clothes hangers and a large ensuite bathroom with hot water. Our bungalows are always kept spotlessly clean. We are also able to arrange a number of activities including Diving, snorkelling, private boat trips, jungle trekking and onward travel, there is also a massage school close to us if you are interested in learning traditional thai massage. We are situated just 1 minute 30 second walk from Klong Kloi beach and our bar area sits right next to the lagoon and we have stunning views of the surrounding mountains and jungle. While the area here is quite quiet there is still plenty of places for food and entertainment, we have everything here to make a perfect holiday on a tropical island.

Reviewed By 401lyndacWe booked for three nights but ended up staying for seventeen. we had a lovely warm welcome from Dang and Zac and really enjoyed their company sitting beside the lake each evening. The bungalow was spotless with a nice hammock on the balcony. Zac's Sunday roast was amazing. The bungalows are situated a few minutes walk from the beach with lots of lovely places to eat. We will be back. Thank you Zac and Dang.

A good spot to stay
Reviewed By AndyGuy74We spent 5 nights here, very clean and tidy place to stay. Pool area is very chilled out and great after a hot day on the island. Breakfast is good and has Thai and western options, don’t be fussy tho as it’s buffet and it changes every day. They have motorcycle for hire at a good price and the bikes are in good working order, they also have pushbikes that are free to use, these are not is as good working order they are usable but do need some attention. I would not recommend if you have kids or tho they are welcome here there is not a lot for them to do. It’s well positioned on the island and they offer a free shuttle to get you over the mountain to white sands. We would stay here again.

Reviewed By John CThis was magical. The room is the biggest I have ever stayed in in my life. The beach is about 3 miles long with only three top resorts on it. 5he pool bar has great cocktails. The food that comes out of shambala kitchen top notch. You have a 20 m walk past the pool to the beach. The views of the sunset are wonderful. There is a washing machine and cooking facilities and a very quiet ac unit. Seriously, no complaints.

Тайская компания Golden Sand(кстати никому не посоветую иметь с ней дело) решила поздравить нас с Новым 2020годом,прислав накануне 28 декабря, сообщение о том, что ВСЕ наши брони на Чанге она отменяет. Пришлось искать размещение где-то рядом с ранее заказанными. У Агоды мы и нашли этот отель. У него много плюсов для тех, кто ценит функционал и презирает бессмысленный гламур. 1.находится слева от Сacha resort, таксисты знают, з250метров по указателю. Не заблудитесь. Мы приехали в 21час,никого о позднем заезде не предупреждали, но нас встретили и заселили в бунгало. 2.в бунгало есть холодильник, чайник нам дали, т. к. Мы отправили этот запрос в последний момент через Агоду и получили ответ через 5минут. 3.взяли бунгало с вентилятором, и его вполне хватило. Но кондей тоже есть, если надо. 4.номер метров 20 с отдельным душем, все мыльно-рыльные принадлежности были как раз на двоих(4штуки шампуня, геля). 5.на ресепшн есть и вода в 6литровых бутылках(мужу всегда мало) и швепс, и энергетики по той же цене, что и в 7/11. 6.номер убирали ежедневно. 7.хозяин-Виват очень добродушный и гостеприимный, подружились, как с родным. 8.на Агоде не указаны завтраки, но нам с 7до 11 давали настоящий кофе, фрукты, снеки. 9.рядом с отелем живут местные жители, мы подружились с их кошками и собаками. Коротали вместе вечера на нашей большой веранде. По утрам нас будили петухи. 10.сам отель/гест находится в лесу,не слышно никакой орущей музыки из баров, никакого шума с дороги. Теперь на Чанге это наше самое любимое и душевное место. Кстати, судя по количеству соотечественников, это место давно оценили. Спасибо, Виват, мы непременно вернемся!

Reviewed By Jalan33Au milieu de la jetée touristique de bangbao dans la baie du même nom, c'est au coeur de cet ancien village de pêcheur que vous trouverez ce homestay. Ancienne maison sur pilotis qui surplombe la baie coincée entre toutes les maisons en bois du même type. Restaurée, aménagée, décorée avec le plus grand soin...cette maison a été transformée en petit hôtel & restaurant avec 4 chambres cabines trop jolies avec salles de bain communes (propreté irréprochable) & 2 chambres plus grandes avec salle d'eau attenante. De la salle de restaurant en plein air sur l'avant,vous bénéficiez d'une vue à couper le souffle sur la baie avec des lumières magnifiques tout au long de la journée. Coucher de soleil en prime. Bref, on y mange en plus extrêmement bien...cuisine fraîche et copieuse. Une parenthèse enchantée. Une pépite. Cependant, le ponton étant très vivant et régnant une certaine promiscuité dans ce petit port...les dormeurs légers devront choisir une des 2 chambres de catégorie supérieure et ou se munir de boules Quies pour vivre cette expérience extraordinaire. Nous, on a adoré et au diable les nuits un peu écourtées tellement cet hôtel est une pépite. l'accueil est adorable et ici on parle l'anglais, toutes les petites informations sont données avec des rires et des sourires.le service est impeccable. On se sent comme à la maison. Prix très doux hors saison.un vrai coup de coeur dans la catégorie logement atypique!

Reviewed By len88This was a very different place to stay one of the most enjoyable 3 weeks ever. We were staying next door in a beach cabin and wandered over along the beach to Resorel. The restaurant was open with no one there we walked by the "kids" pool (bigger than most hotel pools) then past an "olympic pool" and finally found a human David the 80 year old owner. Turns out the Olympic teams use it for practise and rent the place all year round for whenever they want it. The rooms are large the views great often we had the pool to ourselves for hrs. to swim float around on or laze and read.The staff are personal David is a wonderful character his wife gracious. The room rate with a buffet breakfast is reasonably priced it is no wonder many of the quests have been coming for 2-3 months every year for up to nine years. Peaceful a rocky beach but good to snorkel and fish many did daily, close to restaurants (theirs is only open for breakfast and all day free tea and coffee or take your own food and relax in the restaurant at the ocean edge) We could write a book about this experience at Resortel for us all good. If your looking for a full service fun resort this is not it no bar, no restaurant, no crowds, no noise , no rules,just peace and quiet,pleasant staff, wonderful owners,clean well appointed rooms in a small community with all the amenities close by and a short tuc tuc ride to the bars and night life, We would love to go back!
