Owner & guide Andri Sigurðsson picked our party of 4 up at the Hotel Borg for a drive around the Golden Circle. Knowing it was to rain most of the day, he reversed the normal direction of travel and we missed most of the rain. Andri is a experienced local guide and knows his history well.He is good driver and has sense of humor which we all found out shortly after meeting him.

This is a must do while in Iceland. A a tour that offers a variety of natural wonders and stops that makes the day one you will not forget. Visiting the family at Efstidalur farm is not offered by most tour company's but we would not want you to miss it for anything. Faxi waterfall is a hidden gem you will most likely experience all by yourself. The tomato farm is simply a magical place to stop and have a quick bite or a drink, or both!

My mom and I visited Iceland for a week and had a couple of trips booked through Iceland Premium Tours. Our driver was none other than Örvar! The first trip he took us on was the 3-hour tour of Reykjavik coupled with an afternoon at the Blue Lagoon. First of all, the Jeep that we were taken around in was extremely spacious and comfortable. The windows had a cover over the top of it so even if you wanted to roll the windows down to get a better look at something, no rain or snow would come in to the vehicle. More importantly, Örvar was extremely knowledgeable about everything he was showing us in addition to all of the extra questions we had for him. Throughout the week Örvar was an absolute delight to be with—extremely professional and personable. He added on portions of our trip that were not on our original itinerary but that he thought we would enjoy such as the Viking museum and a pastry shop. He truly put so much effort into making this the trip of a lifetime. Thank you to Örvar and Iceland Premium Tours!

We booked 5 days private tour with Iceland Premium Tours, and we were hosted by none other than the CEO Orvar himself. He has been very accommodating towards our request, and provided his unparalleled understanding of Iceland itself. We have been hit by bad weather thru the week, he never stopped a moment to suggest alternate alternatives, without compromising of safety. When we were on the way to the airport, knowing that we did not managed to see the aurora, he took a last effort and drove us to a location for a last ditch effort. And we managed to catch a glimpse of it finally! Thank you Orvar!

We had 9 people in our holiday party and this company was perfect for what we needed. Before we even booked, if I messaged them they replied promptly and were extremely helpful. They picked us up at the airport in a massive van with a trailer so all our luggage fit. Coming back they picked us up at 4am in the morning and the whole process of getting to the hotel and back to the airport was hassle free. Our plane came early but they were still there on time. The transfer wasn't the cheapest but it was worth it for the service and reliability. No waiting around. It was worth the extra dollars.

It was hard choosing a company out of so many, but AMAROK rocked it! Monica and Alberto are just these kind of people you want to hang out with, plus they have those super cool Defenders (which are amazing for photography) Every place they will show you is gonna blow your mind, no matter the weather. In this private tour you will be driving in a comfortable vehicle to natural treasures with a local guide. Geysir hot spring area, Gullfoss waterfall, Þingvellir National Park, Kerið volcanic crater and Faxi waterfall. When you visit those places in a day trip the locals always talk about it as the Golden Circle. Extra photo stops are made at carefully selected locations along the way. Farm visit with the possibility of trying ice cream made on the farm is also on the itinerary. This tour is guided with a local certified guide which partly grew up in this area so if you want some inside stories and see those sights through the eyes of a local this tour might be the one for you.

BJ gave us an excellent tour of the Rekjanes peninsula showing us sights we had not seen before. He was very informative and had a great deal of knowledge of the area. While the weather wasn't ideal being from Minnesota we are use to it we forged ahead seeing many great sight in ways many people rarely see. This gave us many great photos. Highly recommend BJ and BTH travel.
