In my opinion the most beautiful church In Stralsund, the second biggest red brick church after St. Mary church In Gdańsk In Poland. Fantastic organ prospekt.

The most beatiful building in old town of Stralsund. Very good market place on the square in front of cityhall.

The church is small and quite simple, but the main attraction is the buildings attached - the old hospital and alms-houses (still lived in as flats today) with such a feeling of peace and tranquillity.

The Old Market square is a beautiful spot with some excellent architecture around it. The City Hall and the church are places next to each other, and the structures seem to grow into each other. The square itself has a number of nice restaurants and cafes.

You walk into the church and you are immediately surrounded by a riot of colour. Painted walls, pillars, arches, a wealth of medieval art works of all kinds - what a fabulous place. And it manages to feel like a place of worship too.
