Viru Keskuse Rahva Raamat

in 2016. Rahva Raamat in Viru Keskus was nominated as one of four best bookstores in the world by the London Book Fair. It is the largest bookstore in Estonia with kilometers of bookshelves boasting over two floors. It offers plenty of cozy nooks to sit down and discover new and exciting literature. It also has the largest selection of English and Russian literature in Estonia. Rahva Raamat is also an excellent place for meeting people and getting together with friends in its famous cafes: Cafe Gustav on the third and French-style More on the fourth floor. There is also a place for children's activities.

My favorite bookstore in Tallinn. Two floors of books, nicely sectioned by topics. Lot of English and Russian literature. Also notebooks, gifts, music, cafes on both levels. When you leave the store, you can continue browsing on their online store.

This is a very well-organised shopping mall that has a big supermarket on the basement, nice shops on the ground floor, cinemas and restaurants on the first and coffee shops on the top floors. We had dinner at Vapiano and Lido - I prefer the latter because it has a great variety of foods and it is cheaper.

The concierge at my hotel suggested this grocery store and I'm glad that he did. A less than ten minute walk from the Hilton Tallinn Park this combination department store is a one stop shop for a lot of things. Not only can you get groceries (located on the first floor), you can get beauty supplies, a pharmacy, an electronics department, and a barbers. Coming from the States I didn't expect to see all of this in one location. Most of the time it'll be a part of a mall. Sufficed to say. most of the time I spent at the market, especially in the hot food area. Everything seemed to be made fresh, and I loved everything with potato in it. And it had chow mien and rice which wasn't half bad. All the staff at the department store spoke English so that made everything a lot easier. Selection wise, it's one of the biggest for a grocery store I've seen in Tallinn.

T1 Mall of Tallinn

T1 Mall of Tallinn is a next-generation shopping centre. A new way of thinking and a new dimension for people looking for emotions and experiences, not long walks in low-ceiling corridors amid uninspiring shops. Instead, we offer a grand urban space with squares and streets lined with 5 metre high storefronts. A diverse community of restaurants, cafés and street food vendors unique in Estonia will bring the tastes of the world to your plate. T1 is an eye-opening experience!
