Edirne Buyuk Sinagogu

Reviewed By NicJBoston - Brookline, United States

Having almost fallen down, this synagogue which once served a Jewish population of 16,000 has been taken over by the state and totally restored. Behind the temple itself is an attractive brick building which once served as a school and which now shows craft exhibits. Overall, one of Edirne's highlights.
