Dang what an escape room! This escape room checked all the boxes and is well worth the $35/person asking price. We did the Sherlock one and wow so many Knick-knacks, twists and puzzles we made it out with 8 SECONDS to spare. The adrenaline rush was incredible when we were solving the last couple locks with 30 seconds to go. Truly an amazing experience that I’ll never forget.

I went with my family while on vacation and the thing I enjoyed the most was the whole family had contributed to escape, (with 20 seconds left on the clock). We tried the Super-Villain room and it was great. It had a lot of puzzles that everyone helped on. Myself, being a comic book geek, my knowledge of useless information helped with the comic book stuff, my older kids helped to solve some of the puzzles and locks, my youngest would find things in lower places and other hard to reach spots, and my wife helped to coordinate everyone. It was truly a team effort. If you think you need to know a ton about comic book stuff, you only need to know basic information. Such as who is the hero with the metal suit, or has a star on his costume. If you've seen any of the Marvel movies, you're ahead of the game. Even if you don't know that kind of stuff, there are enough clues posted in the room you will find it. It just helps to save time. We also had a great host in Julianna who helped when we needed it. She really helped push us across the line to help the Wasatch Warrior. I recommend this room along with this place.

WE HAD A BLAST! The whole experience was so much fun. The ambiance was perfect the room itself made you feel like you were actually in an Egyptian tomb, complete with yellow flickering (battery operated) hand held torches. Our guide (her name starts with a C I think, but I can't remember) was excellent! I will definitely be visiting again to try one of their other rooms.

We had a family group of 17 with 2 rooms reserved. We had 5 teen-agers and one adult in Leonardo's Loot which gave the teens a chance to take charge and solve clues on their own with the adult offering help if needed. The group of 11 was mostly adults with 3 younger children in Crazy Hoarder's Attic. Both groups had very positive experiences and completed the puzzles before time expired. The teamwork and energy were the best outcomes. Our ages ranged from 5 years old to 66. Very family oriented and staff are committed to positive outcomes.

A group of friends and I did the Harry Potter room for a birthday party and it was a ton of fun! You don't need to be a Harry Potter expert to succeed in this room. There was plenty to do for a group of 10. The clues and puzzles were meticulously planned, fit the theme of Harry Potter perfectly, and were challenging enough to keep us all contributing for the full hour. We escaped with about 8 minutes left. Kyle, our moderator, was fantastic. He was very friendly and energetic. I would come back and try the other rooms in a heartbeat.

Our family has recently been watching the series Psych through VidAngel, and our kids loved this opportunity to play Shawn Spencer as we observed clues throughout the room and began to piece them together enough to escape in the allotted hour. At first we didn't seem to be getting anywhere with the bits of information we collected, which made it all the more exciting when we began unlocking more and more clues that eventually led us to solve the mystery! We felt we had really conquered a great challenge. We did the CSI room with the six of us - 4 kids ages 7-16, 2 adults. One thing we like about Escape Key rooms is that there are lots of padlocks to open, with either keys or codes, so everyone gets to take a turn unlocking one. The use of blacklight flashlights is a great way to involve even the youngest in the family. Encouraging the use of our phones was a first for us, in an escape room situation, and we thought the inclusion of technology to help us gain the needed information was especially clever.
