Have Tea/Coffee in room, no mini bar Breakfast has variety, unbelievable crowded, but staffs are so friendly Clean beach, nice sunset, great for sunbathing, not far from tourist attractions if driving. Would be nice to have more Swings, Hammocks. We love the landscape - really wonderful! Highly recommended for a business trip/family/couples/friends even solo - a charming place in Pattaya! We a bit surprise the check-in & out time at 3pm but actually it is quite good, no need to rush, and we feel no post vacation blue to leave at 3pm...

Reviewed By 888tororoI have been renaissance with my wife. The facilities in the hotel very nice ex. lobby, room, swimming pool is very beautiful. We spent lots of time to take photo and enjoy. We quite enjoyed and were satisfied. Everything is good. When we arrived Pattaya, we are very tired because of long drive from khon kaen. But as we know, even though we reserved the room, we have to wait long time in lobby to get room key bc check in time around 2pm. But lobby staff try to take care us very well such as he give cold towel, and welcome drink, even he asked me refill a drink. Maybe he thought that I looked so tired. And, he provide buggy service, and introduce our room very detail. I really thankful to Mr. Arty for taking care of us. In this trip. This is special trip after long Covid. And we are appreciated so much. Absolutely, we will go there again.

Reviewed By A BThe hotel has beautiful surroundings with its own beach front and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The staff are friendly and the service has deprecated over time. This is the second visit to the resort and its showing its age. As we entered our room I noticed it to smell old and the curtains had mildew on the back side. See images. This is due to moisture in the room with no ventilation during when the air conditioner is operating. It could also do with a freshen up of paint duirng the pandemic before tourism comes again. The bed was medium soft to hard and the pillows were too hard and too high. Sore neck in the morning. The restaurant serves food and drink but it is very slow. Over 35 minute wait for spaghetti because the cook said the spaghetti wasn't precooked and took longer. So does rhat mean I am paying almost 400 baht for a normally precooked meal? I may as well go to 7/11. At least was freshly cooked and the wait time was satisfactory. Nothing special about the spaghetti really. A little bland. As for the breakfast, well upon entering they said it was a buffet but it appears otherwise that everything is behind plastic perspex and assistants serving. I dont think I would call this a buffet but rather a le carte. I felt uncomfortable ordering food not knowing what I wanted. So I did not eat. I will not be coming here again and it has ruined my expectations after visiting the first time when it was awesome. I advise the manager to sleep and experience Kept at Bangsaray. The bed there is amazing with good pillows, excellent service and better breakfast experience. I feel very disappointed with what I thought was going to be a good experience. Also, it says on Agoda that the hotel is SHA plus, neither I or many other guests were asked for Covid-19 checks or certification of vaccination whereas Kept at Bangsaray required it. How does Sea Sand Sun get SHA plus if they do not check customers?

Reviewed By A BThis hotel is located in the fishing village of Bangsaray. The hotel staff we welcoming and friendly. Taking our luggage from the vehicle to the lobby and then to the room later. Parking is opposite the hotel in the adjacent area across the road. The lobby is very nice with pool and football table. The decor is nice with wooden interior and hanging pictures, oars and other fishery objects. They have fishing rods for catching squid which they will cook for you. They also have paddle boards to rent for about 200 baht per hour. The staff showed us to our room which was clean and well presented. We had the 4th floor overlooking the pool and pier with an upstairs bedroom. The stairs to the bedroom are steep so an old person or someone with leg problems should not book this room type. The bathroom was good, although the toilet was a little too close to the shower glass/wall when sitting. The shower was good, powerful and warm enough. The shower water did leak over the shower door along the rubber seal on the floor causing the bathroom to get wet. Had to use a bathroom mat to keep it dry. Towels were fresh and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable woth soft mattress and excellent pillows. Everything was clean and very well maintained. The sofa appeared to be slight broken on the right side but not an issue. The swimming pool os an infinity pool and of good size. The restaurant serves excellent food with prices to be average to slightly over average. Good quality and taste. There is a sand pit for kids to play with swing. There are two piers, one for fishing on the left side and a cafe on the right pier. There are 3 or 4 private villas on the left pier which maybe slight expensive for most. The breakfast was included and was of good quality. Good coffee with cinnamon on top with some latte art. Not the typical coffee machines at some hotels. This seemed like it was made with care and profession. For foreigners staying here, you will enjoy it and I recommend to stay two nights. Overall, my experience at this hotel was more than perfect.

Beautiful looks but careless management and a bit overpriced
Reviewed By Luis AThe place is like a resemblance of a Mykonos greek houses, very nice and pretty looking indeed. it is located very near Bang Saray beach and it has some cardio machines, roof top bar, nice pool and its quite new and clean. We found the staff also quite helpful and always willing to serve. The bad points come with regards to the management whifh is clearly careless regarding several issues for having paid 4000 THB for a Jacuzzy room: -The fridge simply doesnt cool down drinks a t all and we tried it on several rooms and it simply doesnt work, its a cheap mini fridge that simply does not do the job and quite dissapointing -On the second day there was not hot water on the place for hours and noone did anything about it -There were not sunbeds aor laying chairs on the roof top pool on the seaview building when we were there -The jacuzzy watrer gets pretty dirty after one time use specially over night and there is no way to drain the water by yourself, you have to call the engineer which is rather annoying -The top shower head was also not working and there was absolutely not water pressure. All in all we think is a really great place with a lot of potential unfortunately the management from what we could gather is totally crealess and is leaving the place at its own fate. Once again the staff was very helpful but upon paying the premium price for a Jacuzzy room we beleive the above points have to be a min to justify that rate.

Poor: did not match expectations
Reviewed By 844markkMy friends and I booked this hotel for 2 nights for a short getaway from Bangkok. The hotel looks nice from the website photos but the reality is very poor. The hotel is in bad condition as it is shabby and not well looked after. The rooms are old, dirty and uncomfortable. For example, ants in the bath, stains on the coffee-making spoons (not cleaned properly) and there was scummy water left in the kettle which made me not want to make a coffee. The pools are run down don’t look very clean. The ‘crystal dip’ pool was dirty and there were many insects roaming the surrounding decks. There were holes in the wooden decking and I saw a person fall through the decking. I have included photos to prove this. Furthermore, there is an exposed pump/filter (see photo) at the beach-side pool which looked very scruffy and not clean. We felt unhappy to use the pool as it didn’t look very clean. The breakfast was fine as there was a variety. Staff are generally friendly and polite but not very proactive. They told us they would send a golf cart to pick up luggage from the car and bring it to the room. We waited 10-15 mins they never turned up so we did it ourselves. After we checked in once we saw the state of room and hotel facilities we shared our disappointment with the reception. They offered to upgrade us to beach side rooms but we would have to pay extra. I was surprised by this as we were not willing to pay more when we were not happy in the first place. We paid 2,500 baht for a garden view room and I don’t think it is worth the money. For this price in Thailand, you can expect a room/hotel of reasonable quality. I would expect this standard if I paid half of what I paid. It is a quiet resort outside of the city with nice views of the sea. It is fine to stay here but don’t expect quality.
