The sea has many waves so we did not swim but we can enjoy our private pool area, the breakfast was very good they have many cheese and good option. The food is also very good best highlight the staff inform the meat product are all Halal certified very good for me and the arab guest staying here. This is the first hotel i stay when they inform their meat is halal make me feel good when eating. Only problem sometime is buggy can waiting for long time about 15 min but its ok, staff also very friendly Mr alex always give the best customer service at the restaurant I say thank you The Shore

Reviewed By Pamela SWe have just spent 8 relaxing nights at Amari Phuket. Our stay was in the Ocean Wing directly next to the Clubhouse, the staff, Bulbul, Micki and team made our stay so special. They were attentive to our needs and always with a minimum of fuss. The infinity pool is amazing with panoramic views over Patong and beyond. After 2.5years of no travel, this was certainly a wonderful experience for myself and husband. Special mention to Maam (front desk) who went out of her way to ensure our room was suitable for my husband who has mobility issues at times, yes you might have to be a mountain goat however, the destination is well worth the effort. The restaurants Rim Talay and La Gritta didn’t disappoint. Congratulations to the team who appear to have survived the pandemic with flying colours, well worth staying at this hotel.

Great staff but average service
Reviewed By Expat-PassportSo I recently visited this hotel and stayed there for 5 nights. The staff is really good however I felt the service of the hotel was average. Like the food options were limited, the buffets were not great. They do not have all day dinning so if you have kids and they get hungry then can be a problem. The location and view of the hotel is good. You can get quite a few taxis from the outside of the hotel to Patong and it takes only 10 mins by taxi and around 20 mins walk to the Patong street. They have a great pool and pool bar. They managed to extend my checkout time as well as my flight was late in the night. Overall the experience was ok but I think they have a little work to do on their F&B section.

We were given a room on 3rd floor of Building 4, which perhaps has the best ocean view. Great value for money! "Curry Nights" restaurant right across the resort is a God-Send for Indian Vegetarians.

The staff there were amazing and so helpful. Duke made our check in very easy (even at 10pm), Judi was helpful in our wish to upgrade our room and Mr Beer makes the most amazing Mango Daquiri's! We first stayed in a Panoramic Deluxe room for two nights and the last 10 nights in a Sea Pearl Private Pool Access room. Both were amazing in their own way. The surroundings are lush and tropical, the air even smells sweet thanks to all the flowering plants. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach but the lush surrounds of the jungle outweighs the beach being a small distance away. Yes, there is a bit of up/down hill to get to rooms, pool, restaurant - but the team is always very helpful and ready to give you a ride to your room from the reception area. You can also call them to request a pick up from your room if the downhill walk is not your forte. It's a pretty fun ride in a tuk tuk type vehicle. The pools are amazing and very well kept. They are beautiful and the perfect depth/temperature. There are pool towels available and lots of sun lounges to choose from. The restaurant had a great buffet breakfast with a pancake/waffle station, soup station, hot foods, omelet bar, cereal, toast and pastry, and fruit section. The view from the restaurant is quite lovely. We had two very relaxing massages (thank you Apple and team). We also enjoyed the floating brekkie and afternoon tea which we took in our private pool access. Definitely a worthwhile experience. I highly recommend Mandarava for you next stay in Phuket. We are definitely planning on booking there again. It is a very beautiful and relaxing place to be.

From the moment u arrive to the moment you leave they really make you feel welcome. Thanks to Pin, Pop, Golf, Pond, Yaya and Jaed from being so friendly and going above and beyond. Location of hotel is perfect and rooms were extremely nice and clean. 100% recommend this stay.

It is a home away from home for me now; it is a haven of tranquility, exceptional customer service, fantastic food, inspirational sunset, and, my personal favorite, unmatched-exceptional staff. I won't write a book on how great this place is, but if you are in the process of choosing hotels in Phuket, go for The Surin, don't think. It is exquisite. I just came back (June 2022) from a two-week stay, and I'll be honest, I did everything possible to delay or miss my flight, but unfortunately, destiny won, and I had to leave. But I will be back for sure, and not once. Highly recommend it for all age groups, celebrations, and people that want to bring tranquility back to their lives.
