The most enjoyable place
Reviewed By mayimstudioThe place is located close to the centre of the town so it is convenient to go around. Yet, it is quiet and close to a big pond where we can walk or ride a bike (which the resort provide for free) around. The room is really good and clean. The design of the resort is good so each still has privacy. The swimming pool is clean and nice. Breakfast is great. Variety of choices and good coffee.

Disappointing
Reviewed By jackie_rogers59I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room was well presented on first sight but the only outside window was frosted glass leading to the outside corridor. The bathroom was small with no hot water in the hand wash basin or plug making a wet shave very difficult. The restaurant was nice and the food good with very pleasant staff but there was no where to enjoy a drink apart from the reception and then only beer or wine. The swimming pol was a trek across a field which was very muddy due to rain the previous day and when we did arrive it was murky with no loungers and only three broken plastic chairs. The surrounding to the hotel was very pretty and so much more could have been made of it.

A new Nan resort with charming thatched cottages set in a seven acre landscaped garden. Situated close to Nan city, for easy access, but with the atmosphere of a cool quiet park. There is a large swimming pool, separate pool area for kids, one km jogging track and hundreds of trees. Rooms are attractively decorated and fully equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator and television and have either a very comfortable king or two twin beds.
Very restful and pleasant place of escape
Reviewed By Connie TMy husband and I needed a break from a somewhat stressful season of work burdens, and this was "just what the doctor ordered," (meaning perfect for what we needed.) The huts are spacious, cool, and private with outside sitting areas that face a garden. We were pleasantly surprised to find a well-maintained swimming pool that was discreetly hidden behind hedges. We did not even know it was there the first day. Because it is located on the outskirts of town, this place is suitable for those who have their own vehicle and want a quiet rest.

very good massages in a clean environment
Reviewed By rainerstaubthe risasinee might not be the cheapest massage place in nan but by far the best for any kind of serious massages. the staff is so nice and friendly and the rooms are very clean. the therapists, all women, know what they do and no matter you get the massage from a young or older woman it will be a relaxing and very good massage that is done especially for your needs. i highly recommend the risasinee and i will every once in a while go back. maybe the management should consider to employ one or two male therapists too. not everybody is open for a massage from a woman though its mostly better?.

An out-of-the-way place, but very comfortable
Reviewed By HallomegaThis hotel is quite a way out of town so to stay here you need your own car. The staff are friendly and the Manager speaks good English. There is a tiny swimming pool, and some huge metal dinosaurs in the garden. My room was quite dark (but had curious violet neon lights in the ceiling) and everything is from an earlier generation of style. Comfortable enough and good bed.

Mixed Feelings.
Reviewed By 712ronbI have mixed feelings about Apirata Resort. Firstly, you will need your GPS to locate the resort. It is in a quiet location 15 minutes from the centre of Nan and just behind the Bic C shopping centre. The cottage/cabins are located in pleasant well maintained gardens. The timber cottage are a timber construct with a traditional Thai decor. The bed is a hard queen size affair. I wish they would not place the bed directly under the air con and I wish they supplied a sheet rather than a blanket/doona and more than two pillows. The bathroom is ok but the cleaning staff need to hit the tiles with some elbow grease, gumption and bleach to remove the extensive mold. Shower only had light spray, but did have great hot water. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Requiring guest to drink instant coffee is so last century. Hard fried eggs with those miniscule Thai sausages. I had to go elsewhere for my morning heart starter. Staff were friendly at reception but I did not have contact with them again during my stay. Summary - a pleasant quiet place to stay, needs a few refinements.

Fantastisches Resort an einem wundervollen Ort
Reviewed By Fritz SDieses Hotel hat mir auf Anhieb sehr gefallen. Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind sehr gross, sehr sauber und ruhig. Auch das Badezimmer bietet viel Platz. Der Pool befindet sich in einem wunderbaren und gepflegten Garten, gleich angrenzend auch ein Fitness-Raum und eine Bibliothek oder Lesezimmer. Alles mit Air-Condition und liebevoll dekoriert. Bis zum Stadtzentrum sind es etwa 4 km. Ein Auto oder ein Scooter ist daher hilfreich, auch um die kulturell sehr interessante Umgebung zu erkunden. Fahrräder können ausgeliehen werden. Der Flughafen Nan ist Luftlinie ein paar Kilometer entfernt. Da es nur wenige Flüge pro Tag gibt und die Flugzeuge über die Stadt starten, hört man im Nan Boutique Resort kaum etwas und schon gar nicht in der Nacht. Für mich das beste Hotel in der Region und ich kann es deshalb mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Die Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeiter hat mich sehr beeindruckt.

Amazing hidden gem
Reviewed By Flyfrog61First time we come here and certainly not the last time. Nice decorated family resort. We were with 4 Harley Davidson bikes and could park in the front of our bungalow. The service was nice but still young staff, still learning. The rooms were SUPER, with 2 bath rooms one inside and one outside. Maybe a tip to put a electric plug near the bed, good for loading phone? WIFI ok. Small swimming pool with salty water, nice. Breakfast just normal maybe cause it was quiet. Quiet place except for the rooster at 6 am haha One more thing, I want to thank the lady owner/manager Miss Manida of the Resort for the taxi service to the nearest Thai restaurant go and back, much appreciated!
