Reviewed By manoromMy expectations were not high as we approached but once inside the resort I was captivated by its location, charm and facilities. The infinity swimming pool is a great asset and the view of the beach, cove and ocean is fantastic. Dinner on the beach was delicious and when the lights began to twinkle and the singer,/guitarist entertained us with melodic, modern, Thai songs it was a magical moment. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The position of your villa is important, some with sea views, most with gardens. My expectations were exceeded and I am happy to recommend this resort.

Reviewed By Frank0121Spent here 6 days and loved every minute of it. The accomodations are luxury and the environment is very peacefull and quiet. Loved to sit at the cafe and watched the beautifull sunset with a beer. We stayed in the extra sweet room. The room is very clean and the view from the deck is awesome. The restaurant serves excellent food, as well as Thai dishes as international. Staff absolutely friendly and cooperative in solving things. Hope to come back here some day.

Horrible experience!
Reviewed By 213johannesnScam, doesn’t look like on the pictures We had to check out after only 1 night and didn’t get any refund and not even reply to two emails! We booked 4 nights via Agoda and got transferred to cloudbeds. We clicked on a garden view villa for Medee Resort. Then we chose the “Promotion Medee Two”. On arrival staff was sleeping and we got droven with a Scooter to a total off location - 10 minutes walk to the actual resort. You can’t avoid using a scooter since there are many wilde dogs on the street also when it’s dark. The location was extremply remote but the staff said this is what we booked! Be aware of their misleading booking system. On arrival there was trash behind the chairs on the terrace, left over spaghetti and mayonese in the fridge. Dirt spots all over on the walls and water running out when using the sink. The interior was cheap and not at all like the images for “Medee resort”. We were also the only guests in this off complex they put us. The scooter we rented was basically out of gas (below red level) and the speedometer didn’t work. We felt very alienated and strange, the staff said things like “you can join us down at breakfast” as if we were at a complete different place. Really, the worst experience we had in our so far beautiful 3 weeks Thailand trip with amazing hotels and staff. PS: As you maybe read in other comments, there is still no pool!

Tranquil beachside resort
Reviewed By SimRob69This was my first visit to Koh Kood and the island is beautiful and unspoilt. This resort is right on the beach and has chalet style self contained houses laid back from the beach in a garden setting. The rooms/chalets are very well appointed and spotlessly clean. My only slight gripe is the towels seem quite old and getting a little threadbare. The restaurant serves a mixture of western and Thai cuisine and each night there was a barbecue buffet offering a plethora of fresh sea food all cooked to order. The pool is a little garish and sometimes the water looked a little green, but it is obviously open to the elements. Most days we only sat by the beach and swam in the sea, so it was not a big concern. I would stay here again, but I think I will try another resort next time to get a different view.

This hotel try to rip you off

First they didnt tell you that you cant bring drink into the resort then charge us 2000 THB when we arrived. After paying 2000 THB, i asked for a bucket of ice and they insist on charging 50THB per bucket. This is absolutely bad experience. My dinner experience was horrible where food serve took over an hour and there were 5 tables only. Next the airblade in the room is broken. I couldnt sleep all night because it is either too hot or too cold when i try to adjust it. Moreover, we couldnt connect to wifi and it is the only entertainment mean we can get since there is no cable TV. Thus, u have to rent DVD from the lobby....... who doest that nowsaday. This hotel is lack of customer attention. I strongly do not recommend visiting. There are other newer hotel with better service quality.

From checkin to housekeeping until departure, service was seamless and always with a smile. We were upgraded to a beachfront villa due to our original villa having power issues which was deeply appreciated, and we felt the beach villas were simply stunning and well thought out. Everything about our stay was perfect, we were lucky to have gorgeous weather and minimal capacity so we felt we were on a private island. Special highlights were having our own buggy to drive through the beautiful greenery throughout the resort, the amazing breakfast, two private beaches, transformative spa massage and the observatory on a clear night. Please send our thanks to Summer our wonderful barefoot butler, the kind ladies at the Spa, and the entire team at Soneva Kiri for a trip we will never forget. Knob khun ka!

Relaxing week at Tolani
Reviewed By Benny EMy wife and I spend a week at Tolani Koh Kood The hotel location is perfect, with a nice view of the beach and sea. We rented a pool villa, the room was very nice, spacious, and well maintained. The toilet got blocked 2 times, but the issue was solved within minutes. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant and coffee shop were excellent, when we asked, they even prepared dishes that were not on the menu. One minor point was the breakfast was rather limited, it’s ok for a few days but for a week we would have liked some more choices. Special thanks to Ms. Amp, she was always ready to help us and even after working time we could contact her by Whatsapp. We will certainly return
