Nice family resort - recommended if you want quietness

I was looking for a quiet place to spend a week by the beach, this place meets all my needs. - the restaurant is closed but you can use the facilities, great place to work. Internet is pretty strong. - the staff is super friendly and very careful ! As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. - the way to go is a dirt road but very easy. I’m clearly not an experienced driver but it was very easy to manage. Recommended to have a motorbike as this part of the island is still recovering from covid, however you’ll find a 7-11 on the main road (10 minutes walk).

Reviewed By hotelreview123Beware dishonest hotel, still taking money and bookings on websites although a lot of things not operating at hotel- kayaks not allowed to be used , some services including restaurant closed. Restaurant permanently closed back in April, and was still closed when I left Koh Phangan in September 2020 (was staying elsewhere as moved after 3 nights) however hotel still taking bookings for rates including breakfast, and took me a few months to get money back from Expedia.Hotelkept saying breakfast was being served, but fortunately I photgraphed closed restaurant as noticed hotel was a bit dodgy/greedy when I arrived as they said they were closed although still taking bookings throughout! Beware of Loyfa I have stayed before but now taken over by a young Swiss guy and things have changed... plenty of well priced good HONEST hotels still operating on Koh Phangan eg Zama resort, Koh Phangan Bayshore, Villa cha cha, Milky bay resort, Benjamins Hut, etc etc. STAY ELSEWHERE

Reviewed By Thomas1806Well, you have some options here: go to Than Sadet on day trip, and sleep elsewhere. It’s pretty, but can also be rough and windy at times. The Mai Pen Rai Bungalows on the rocks are truely spectacular, but worn and need refurbishing. They got the basics you need though. Some of Plaa’s bungalows seemed better off. The bar at the beach is overpriced and you get tired of reggae. The two other retaurants have better food. Don’t forget to buy the homemade banana chips at the Silver Cliff Restaurant! And do some hiking. Go see the waterfalls or hike to Thang Noi Pan and visit the cool Hide on High bar for a great view of the coast and sea on the way.

Dewshore Resort is a family-run resort. It has large spacious bungalows and a beautiful swimming pool. The place is easy to reach from Thongsala and Haadrin. Beautiful views to Koh Samui over the beach. Free high speed Wifi and great local cooked food at the restaurant.
Beautiful relaxed family resort
Reviewed By Niko JI recently stayed at the Dewshore Resort and I could tell that my stay was simply delightful. I felt like being a VIP in paradise. This is a family-owned business so the staff was very friendly. I had a very warm welcome when I arrived. This resort offers a wide range of rooms for every budget. Since I went there during a very quiet period due to the current sanitary situation, I chose the best and biggest bungalow (with jacuzzi) right on the beach front. It was exactly what I was looking for, a quiet and stylish room right on the the beach front. The room was very nice, brand-new and sparkling clean with a huge terrace and offered very nice views over the sea and the opposite Koh Samui. Although the Ban Tai beach is definitely not the best beach in Koh Phangan, you'll certainly enjoy the beautiful view and the quietness of that place. A stroll right down the bungalow on low tide in the morning was a great way to start the day. One thing I really appreciated about that place is that even though the current situation is very difficult for every business owner in Koh Phangan and I was one of the only guests staying at that time, the whole resort (including my bungalow, the common areas and the swimming pool) was sparkling clean. It was also very safe, with CCTV cameras and a huge doggy to take care of the place. There was always some staff to help and clean, which is a credit to them, when considering the fact that I was one of the only tourists in Koh Phangan at the time. Highly recommended. I will definitely return before tourists come back :-)

Otherwise, I absolutely loved everything about Munchies Resort. Stephanie, Selley and Tatiyana are all incredibly wonderful! Be patient when you come to Thailand and it will be a good experience! Can't wait to come back ✌❤ ?

The room was perfect for 4, the view on opening the curtains stunning and the staff and very helpful and friendly. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone, we had eaten here in years past but had t stayed and I’m so pleased we made the decision to stay this time.

Pure robbery
Reviewed By mairosdjPure robbery I booked 1 bedroom house + kitchen in advance for a month, I arrived and paid the amount for the month. The road was long. The Internet did not work at once or sometimes the speed reached 0.8 mb/s. As soon as I decided to go to bed, my neighbor through the wall turned on the column on the Porch of the house. It was impossible to sleep until 01:00. Then it was repeated the next day at 5 am. I complained to the landlady, she said she would talk to him. 2 days later it happened again. At 5 in the morning. The other tenants heard it, too. After that, I told the landlady I'd move out when I found another house.she admitted that the neighbors are noisy. I had to go to Phuket for 1 day and come back. When I returned, I found another house. I asked to deduct 25% of the monthly amount for that week what I Lived in this hell. Without compensation for the inconvenience. As a result, the owner of the Bungalow said that she does not give back the money or can return 25% of the total amount for the month. However, she wrote that on chat, she will need go to Suruthani.and she not wan’t speak about it anymore. Money is reception left at her stuff workers. For a room without Internet and with loud music at night in your house I paid for the week almost 12 000 thai batt!!!. Welcome to the Easy life Bungalows! Ps - also, air conditioning is installed in front of the bed, so sleep in the day and flat you do not succeed, you can get sick! Hot water also works bad!
