Hired out the play centre for my daughter's birthday party. Fab prices with ice-cream and slush. We did our own catering but everything was fantastic from start to finish at maxwells and all the kids loved it.. My daughters are 4 and 2 and both love this little play centre so much and it's perfect for their ages.

This is a really good park for families with young kids - one of the best in Leeds I think. There's a large playground, large sandpit, Japanese garden (haven't been to that yet but looks lovely through the hole in the wall), skate park and a cafe that sometimes has a free bouncy castle outside it for customers.

Cracking local park which is family friendly. Lots to do at the Bradford Road end with lake, kids adventure playground bowling green, tennis courts and skate park. Even a cafe on most days. Lovely paths to walk and exercise on higher up which leads to Bagshaw Museum which is well worth a visit itself as it's a hidden gem. The park and the museum are great for walking, for the kids to explore (as it's got a treasure trail where kids can take rubbings of off of posts set along the way to investigate and link back to the museum). This is a great local amenity
