Come and enjoy Carp Fishing at its best on this superb 3 acre Carp lake set in 20 acres of French countryside near Chalus in the Limousin, with carp to 50lb plus. Compton's Lake is available to book exclusively between March & November from 945 euros a week for up to 4 anglers. Although there are plenty of weeks to choose from between mid March & mid November each year, we close mid Summer for July & August, as this allows our Carp to have plenty of rest and relaxation each year.

We visited today as 2 families with children 5,8,9 and 19. It was great, very shaded for a hot day. One of the staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. There was no limit to how long you spent there and you could repeat the courses as many times as you liked. They ranged in ability white for starters and young children, yellow, green, blue ( high and daring) finishing with a long zip line (black). A really good day out, very safe and we’ll staffed. There are toilets and snacks drinks available. Definitely will return.

Excellent day in this park made for all. Helpful, dynamic and very friendly team. Thank you again for your help. I particularly appreciated this day because as a caregiver with a person in a wheelchair, I rented a PMR scooter on site and it completely changed my day (and that of the person who used it for the first time!) - Using a PMR scooter allowed us to access all the paths in the park without difficulty. I highly recommend its use to those who can. A hemiplegic elderly person with only one valid arm and no driving difficulties. Meanwhile, I was able to enjoy the visit without pushing the wheelchair, which otherwise would not have been able to access all areas of the park. Park with semi-shaded circuit, very beautiful, if you have a wheelchair and you want to rediscover or discover a semblance of forest, Go for it. Excellent address for people with reduced mobility with the use of their PRM scooter. Bravo, very nice idea. Thank you again.
