Went early spring during the thaw, falls were great you can get right up to it. Ledges were neat at the top. It's up but not a rock climb. My 7 and 11 YO made it up just fine. Worth the visit. Plan 4 hours.

Belleayre Beach hits high marks as an oaisis from the heat in the Catskill Mts. Family friendly and impeccably clean, this local favorite follows current CDC guidlines with plenty of space for folks to spread out. Free activities such as swimming, paddle boards, kyacks all under lifeguard watch. Must give a ""Shout Out" to August at the peddle boat dock...Amazing at her job, and Tracy Sullivan who manages Belleayre Beach...Thank you.

My girlfriend and I visited the sanctuary today and we had a great time. Our guide, Kaden did a tremendous job of bringing us around the farm to meet all the animals, describe their various situations and give us information about the different species.It's really a terrific way to spend a few hours, get some fresh air and learn a few things. On a side note, I'd like to address comments in some of the reviews I've read about so called " vegan lectures." We experienced no such thing. What we did learn is that all these animals, big and small have feelings, quirks and characteristics much the same as people. If that's something you can't handle for some reason? Your problem. Anyway, fantastic day! Thanks CAS!

6 mile round-trip easy trail on level ground. Just an FYI, no facilities are available on this trail. We had a very enjoyable hike!
