Affenberg - Monkey Hill

At Affenberg Salem nearly 200 Barbary macaques roam freely in a 20 ha forest. A path guides you through the monkeys‘ home range. You can even feed the monkeys with gratis available popcorn. Be prepared to enter a different world of animal magic!

I visited the Park last year with my cousine (5 Years old). We have had a great experience. It was so much fun to watch the monkeys jumping around and interact with each other. We could even see a few baby monkeys. I would reccomend you to have a look at the "monkey feeding" during your visit. There is also free Popcorn for feeding them by yourself. The monkeys were trusting and curious and have lot of space and wildeness. The staff was also very friendly. All in all we spent a really nice day.

Wasserfallsteig

Reviewed By 123richardz - Rotterdam, The Netherlands

After walking a nice, bit busy with other tourists, trail that is relatively steep and nicely maintained, that follows the little stream upwards you reach this very nice waterfall. You can get to the bottom of the fall by some steps and you can even get in behind the fall by climbing the last 20 meters of rock.
