If you are traveling across Turkey or looking for a short break, then Egirdir is definitely worth a visit. The peninsula has a number of small guest houses and cafes located on the seafront. If you want to walk the town then you can cross the causeway pass the old city walls and visit the small town center with a historic mosque and market. The views are spectacular and in summer the weather is perfect usually around 24 degree with a cool breeze. We love visiting this place to escape from the hot weather on the coast... picturesque and some lovely walks.
