We highly recommend Cultural Morocco Tours as a company and a big part of the reason why is our driver and tour guide Ismail. From the moment we met him, he made us feel comfortable, and this remained the same all throughout our trip. He is one of the most gracious, patient, and kind-hearted people we met in Morocco, and he made our trip so memorable and enjoyable. We did the 3 day tour from Marrakech to Fes. From taking us to places and sites off-the-beaten path, to taking our pictures, and being accommodating, Ismail was the best tour guide and driver we could have asked for. At every place that we went to, Ismail had a great relationship with the locals, which speaks to his experience as a tour guide, but also his friendliness and camaraderie with people in general. It felt like we were longtime friends and he was showing us the favourite parts of his country. With Ismail, you are definitely in good hands. The time that we were sightseeing with Ismail was one of the best parts of our trip, and we have him to thank for that. As for driving, Ismail was an absolute pro. He is such a careful and conscientious driver, and you could definitely tell he takes safety seriously. I recall that we had to drive in the darkness at night, along winding roads off of a mountainside; Ismail handled these tough drives extremely well, and we always felt safe with him. Long car rides can be tough, but the car itself and the drive from place to place were always comfortable, with Ismail at the wheel and the driver's seat. He also takes breaks in between driving, which is important (and also provides picture-taking opportunities). Our tour included Aït Benhaddou, a short stop at the Atlas Studios but we didn't have time or desire to take a tour inside, a visit to a Kasbah to see how the families lived and worked, a stop in the Dades Gorges, touring an irrigation system to see how water was transported from the mountains, camel ride, beautiful desert camp, a stop in Ifrane, a stop to see and feed wild monkeys and dropped us safely to our riad in Fes. All in all, we 100% recommend Ismail and this Cultural Morocco Tours. Your trip will be so much better and more exciting if you book with them. You are missing out if you don’t. We chose this company due to the excellent reviews and the the price for a private tour was excellent. There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are for the hospitality and for providing us with the experiences that we had on this tour.

The tour company we booked with was Deep Morocco Tours. Our guide, Hamid, was excellent. His vehicle, a Mercedes SUV, was clean and comfortable. Hamid graciously allowed us ample time to take a multitude of photos of the goats in the trees on our way to Essaouira. He then spent most of the day doing exactly what we loved doing ... SHOPPING! We told him he didn’t have to stay with us while we went through almost every shop in town but he chose to stay with us even after one of us had to buy an extra suitcase to bring more souvenirs home. He pulled the suitcase around town while it was filled. What a guy! He took us to a lovely rooftop restaurant that overlooked the Atlantic for a fabulous seafood lunch. What a pleasant, relaxing day. The icing on the cake was when he contacted us a day later to let us know I forgot my bag of Argan oil in his vehicle. Somehow it slid up under the seat and I didn’t notice it missing. He even delivered it to our hotel. I highly recommend this company and Hamid as a guide. It was the best day out of the 4 we spent in Marrakech.

This is just the worst experience ever! I booked a trip, and instantly contacted the organizers about details of the trip. They did not answer me for 3 days. And only after I reminded several times and started to call them, they decided to tell me that my trip is cancelled. At it is the day before the start. Very nice. Not to mention that I booked a hotel in Marrakech, and transportation to Marrakech from Agadir (bc I live in Agadir) - and the day before the date everything is non-refundable. If I got the info earlier, I could have cancelled my hotel for free. Communication is like "Yes, we cancel your trip. We have no control about it." Like who has control over it? Nobody apologized not for the late response (I waited for 3 days and reminded several times, because panicked that nobody will pick me up), not for the late cancellation. Only when I mentioned that it would be nice that you at least apologize, they did it. Thank you, but when somebody asks you for sorry, it is a signal that you should have done it earlier. I understand that now is covid and everything, but this bad review is about communication, and I think that it is a job of the organizators to ORGANIZE everything, and solve the problems when they arise. You do not just throw cancellation a day before the trip in your customer, and do not answer the phone. Terrible. Just terrible.

The entire Tour exceeded my expectations. Azis was a great and patient driver. This tour was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip, We were picked up at our agreed location. We toured Aiit Ben Haddou with an awesome guide by the name of Mohan (spelling). We had plenty of time for pictures once we arrived. we had a delicious lunch on a rooftop with beautiful views. we then headed out to our overnight stay and the rooms were already set up for us. The food was AMAZING. We had a great night stay with beautiful views. The following day was the highlight of our trip. We rode on camels to our camp where the locals where preparing dinner for us and we had a bonfire before going to bed. We also purchased the turbans at the Berber family's store which was great to have during our camel ride. I was able to sandboard and rent quads for my daughter and I . The bathrooms are clean. Don't forget to tip the locals :) . This was the best experience ever!!! Bring snacks, water and toilet paper for the road trip. There is also stores and cute cafes on the way, which is a perfect time to get out and stretch your legs. I didn't think i would be able to be out on such a long tour but, this company made EVERYTHING worth while.

A great experience to travel through the High Mountains Tikcha, see these emblematic sites of Morocco. Our guide was wonderful. Very friendly, spacious and confident that our experience there was well planned so that we can make the most of our day. Loved all the imperial cities, but it is essential to see the barbarian life and the amazing landscapes.

Not worth it at all. Spent the entire time driving around in a car. Had a few stops to look at the sites. Not much to see in Casablanca. Just go to Hassan II on your own. The worst part was being taken to an authentic Moroccan art display... you mean a rug shop where they try to get you to buy overpriced rugs. Not worth it at all. The driver was great though.
