I was stayed here 2 days and 1 nights with my fiancee. The hotel looks so great and attracting. But here I just want to said that, the staff are very rude when asking about our arrival. Hence, I was mistaken by putting my date on my check in arrival on Agoda. The staff told me to cancel my booking because of my wrongly date that I had book in. But it tooks 1 / 2 hour to settle it, and yet he didn't have an idea how to cancel our booking because this is my first time using the Agoda application. Management should train your staff how to handle and solve the problem like this and train your staff how to communicate with a guest in a proper ways, because we as a guest should have a good service not like a beggar. We paid your hotel. Secondly, a very noisy sound came from the upper level and it disturb us while we are sleeping. Overall the cleanliness hotel are very excellent, nice decoration around the pantry corner.

Clean and Quiet, a bit Pricey

Reviewed By Hazel O

At RM48 for a dorm bed for a night, this lodge is a bit expensive. However, the beds are wide and the bunks high so the sleeping space isn't cramped at all. My dorm had only two bunk beds, so that also felt 'roomy'. There is a large (easily big enough for a backpack) locker per person as well. The room had three plug sockets. There are two showers and two toilets per floor which might not be many if there was a big group. Breakfast was tea/coffee/toast/cereal. It was very clean and well maintained. The market outside was audible but the lodge itself was very quiet. The lounge is big enough for a dozen people to sit at tables if you needed to teach a class, give a briefing or had a big group of students.

D'Villa Rina Ria Lodge

Lovely views, friendly staff, great location for park

Reviewed By yogiloca

I had a wonderful two night stay at D'Villa. The staff is just so friendly and warm. I was lucky enough to meet Wilson the owner and his two lovely twins; he gave me some helpful tips about the area. The views are beautiful and it's just a stone's throw away from the park entrance. The included breakfast was good, however the restaurant itself was overpriced. I stayed in the dorm room which was very basic but reflected the price. They have some snacks and handy items for sale if you're climbing the mountain and forgot something. There are lots of plants and greenery around. WiFi worked well for me. It's school holidays now so the hot springs are very crowded fyi. Could use some soap in the bathrooms but other than that no complaints. I would stay again!

Good View Lodge

Good View Lodge location in Kota Kinabalu city centre. Downstairs is durian market. Around have some supermarkets and one shopping centre called "Wisma Medeka" that is an exchange money better place. 'SURIA SABAH' just walk 5 min will be there. Our shop opposite is Gaya Street and a lot of food.

Most ironically named disaster

Reviewed By Charlie790

Firstly, we were initially put into a 6 bed dorm when we had paid for a room. The guy on the desk clearly was untrained in his role and struggled to meet ant of our basic requests such as asking for toilet paper. We were told towels were not provided but then were given ones which stunk of smoke. The bathrooms were flithy and sinks were blocked. The only consolation was the room had good air conditioning. Lastly, perhaps a re-think of the name of this poorly run establishment unless you think a back street is a good view! We will not be returning.
