Ticked all boxes - but that’s all
Reviewed By DjGLoveWe stayed there for four nights. Swimming pool is a plus but bear in mind that you are not allowed to use it between 2-5 in the afternoon. Breakfast has the absolute minimum but it’s ok. It’s 15 minutes away from the port and 5 minutes away from Skyros town - by car. A nice beach is also 5 minutes away, on foot. Room itself was quite dated, including bathroom, but my expectations were not that high either. Melikari did tick all boxes but next time I might shop around a bit more.

Friendly and cheerful but not comfortable
Reviewed By TakisKaragiannisMeroi Studios is a typical Greek rent room facility. Cheerful and friendly accommodation, mostly due to the owners. Helen (Eleni) and Jim (Dimitris) are so kind. Although the facilities are located in a beautiful place, with a palm trees row, the comfort is not their point. Tiny shower and totally uncomfortable bed. It's a pity cause it could be a great asset for a 55€ per night (August 2014). Despite all these, Meroi Studios offer a great wi-fi connection, something not so common for a Greek island accommodation facility.

The Pension Nikolas is a family run business in the town center of Skiathos, only 2 minutes walking distance from the port. Each room can host 2 or 3 people.Each room is equipped with bathroom, balcony, air conditioning, fridge and television. There is a courtyard where you can meet your friends and enjoy their company.The location of Pension Nikolas is the ideal starting point for getting to know the traditional town of Skiathos, close to the new harbor, the old harbor and the main street, Papadiamantis Street. For the nearby beach of Megali Ammos you can walk about 10 minutes, up Papadiamantis Street.

Reviewed By Kjell NWe needed an overnight stay in Skiathos and we booked two rooms at Pension Nikolas. The rooms were Nice and clean, and the man that met us was very helpful. The location is perfect if you are waiting for a ferry.

Maria Studios is located in a quiet neighbourhood, in the town of Skiathos. Our place is the ideal place if you want to explore the island and go sightseeing also. Maria Studios consists of 10 fully equipped and comfortable rooms with TV, air-condition, bathroom, fridge, kitchenette and balconies.

Armonia Guest House is located in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Skiathos Island, only 250m from port. All rooms are fully equipped with a/c, TV, fridge, private bathroom and balcony and some of them have fully equipped kitchen. Free of charge parking area is located close to the building. The main street is 100m away and the bus terminal and nightlife of Skiathos is within walking distance

Reviewed By pascal3677Wondeful stay. The rooms are renovated, comfortable for two persons with nice design. The location very centrally. The owner really friendly and helpfull. Very important the free parking area and free internet.

Εννοειτε πως θα ξανα παμε αποσταση απο την χωρα της Σκοπελου μολις 5 λεπτα με το αυτοκινητο κ αποσταση απο την παραλια Σταφυλος 1 λεπτο με τα ποδια το σημειο στο οποιο βρισκετε εχει την καλυτερη θεα απο ολα...!!!!! Οτι καλυτερο!! Σκοπελαρααααα

Centrally located next to the main port of Skopelos, this cosy pension operates all year round. In two levels of panoramic windows, the 10 en-suite rooms offer stunning views of the traditional main town of the island, as well as the harbor with its moorings for pleasure craft and sailing boats, and the bay with its sandy beach. Municipal vehicle parking is a minute away and free of charge.
Very nice location but only ok otherwise
Reviewed By CatsarecoolThe room was a little cluttered but workable. We arrived to find the room had not had the bathroom bin emptied which was a bad start. The coffee sachets etc were not replenished through out the week which is not the end of the world but if offered should be at least there on the first day. The shower head did not have a wall support and the toilet roll holder was broken. In fact the shower was actually a bath mixer tap with shower attachment which was a little strange. The extractor in the bathroom had been removed at some point but not replaced so just a hole in the ceiling which when windy whistled keeping us awake. On the plus side the location is very good overlooking the port.The double glazing was very effective at keeping the room quiet from the bustle of Skopelos town and the air con worked well once we worked out how to use it. Towels were changed every day. A perfectly acceptable room despite the niggles, some more serious than others. Customer service could be better however with some information regarding the room, contact detailks etc.

In Molos and just 2km from the town of Skyros, the rooms are AURA. Ideal for quiet holidays and relaxing. Just 300 meters. from the unique beach and 350m Spins. Molos from the beach. The shops (bakery and mini-market) is just 100m. from the complex. The complex offers double, triple and quadruple rooms with the addition. It also features two-room apartments fully equipped with private balconies
Great experience with a personal touch
Reviewed By florlevVery warm and personal service! The owners Mr. Kostas and Ms. Maria did everything they could to accommodate me, my mother, and my cousin at the very last minute of our booking. Because our booking was made at the last minute, we had to change rooms during our stay, but this was communicated clearly to us from the beginning. We were very happy with all three rooms that we stayed at - a maisonette, a quadruple, and a triple room. All were very clean with daily cleaning service, comfortable, and well equipped. Avra is located very close to the beach of Molos (the best in the island in our opinion), and yet very close to Skyros town. The studios are very quite and we loved the beautiful garden! This isn't a hotel - so one should not expect the typical amenities a hotel offers. They are well maintained studios, run by a hospitable and friendly family. Vey pleasant stay! Thank you Mr. Kostas and Ms. Maria for everything!

A good value Hotel
Reviewed By Michael BI took a group of twelve people in early season so we had this comfortable small hotel all to ourselves with its good updated bathrooms and the benefit of balconies. The owners, Nikos and his Dutch wife Roos made us most welcome and afforded us the use of their mini-bus which for a group on an island without much in the way of bus services was a real benefit in getting around.

Κατηφορίζοντας προς το πρώτο λιμάνι μετά το Πατητήρι, το Ρουσούμ Γιαλό, συναντάμε την «Πανσιόν Όαση» αποτελούμενο από 10 δίκλινα δωμάτια. Τα 12 δωμάτια διαθέτουν διπλό κρεβάτι. Όλα είναι εξοπλισμένα με τηλεόραση, ψυγείο, κλιματισμό, σεσουάρ μαλλιών και όλα έχουν ανεξάρτητο μπάνιο και αυτόνομο μπαλκόνι με θέα την πευκόφυτη περιοχή. Η πανσιόν λειτουργεί από αρχές Ιουνίου μέχρι τέλος Σεπτεμβρίου.

Reviewed By pepps1979abbiamo soggiornato in quest'hotel ad agosto..è una piccola pensione a conduzione familiare,con colazione base,di burro,latte e marmellata..le camere son piccole,anche il balcone e i bagni alla buona,ma sono pulite e sempre in ordine! ha l'aria condizionata ed il wi-fi solo in reception..la posizione non è delle migliori..lontani dal porto e dai veri luoghi d'interesse! ma facilmente raggiungibili e tranquilla la zona..non lo sconsiglierei,ma non ci ritornerei neanche! c'è di meglio..
