Excellent stays at the Sino Mansion!
Reviewed By Dom21076My wife and I spent a first night at the Sino Mansion and came back a few days later after a trip to the islands for another 2. The hotel feels new and super well maintained. Its location is perfect for us, centrally located, close to market with a few good local restaurants, markets and shops around. The staff is very nice and welcoming. My inability to speak Thai was not too much of a problem thanks to Google Translate. The room is pretty much as described on booking sites; spacious, clean and comfortable (serviced everyday) with a good bathroom. Excellent WiFi. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By Vigdis M BKoh Chang Resort is located in an exellent place. We had a beach front room (cottage) and loved to sit on the veranda and look out to the sea, and listen to the waves. Kae the owner spoke english, she is a funny and nice lady, that helped us with everything we asked for. The swimming is not so good as at Koh Phayam, but OK (very shallow on low tide) and there are sandy beaches on both sides of the resort. We had all our meals at the resort, not easy to visit other resorts, and the food was good. They have a small quay or pier which is very handy for landing with a boat. There is a boat leaving twice a day for Ranong and back. Electricity is 6 hours in the evening. The bathroom was not well taken care of, and not very clean. I cannot really understand when they have such a nice place, that they do not take better care of it. Updating the bathroom would make wonders to the place. Behind the beach front rooms there were new rooms, but I would never swop one of them with the beach front room. Beware that Koh Chang Noi is not a very developed Island, but that did not bother us, we would like to go back. The headline may seem not to match the score I'll give 7,5 out of 10, but that was really because of the bathroom. We loved the place.

Hotel ,bistro, motorbike, car rental. There has been an ownerchange ,recently . The new owners and the team are working extra hard to satisfy the needs of our customers . There is 21 rooms available , a bistro downstairs with coffee and some pastries. And a motorbike rental, even a Ford pick up truck is available to rent.

Reviewed By ALMoonWe stayed here one night before taking ferry to islands, the WiFi is fantastic, but nothing else is, it’s dirt cheap, very noisy road, hard bed. Would not recommend. The staff tried hard to please, restaurant deserted in the morning, never told about or offered any kind of breakfast.

The room itself was enough for one person: big bed, mosquito nets, bathroom, TV, free working wifi and fridge in room. Everything was neat and clean here. Check in went easy even though I've been quite late as the front desk is open 24-7. Even got a simple but fresh and good meal in the on- site restaurant. Breakfast is also available here. Dahla House is somehow on the main touristy road and therefore you just gave to step to either side of the street and you'll find different restaurants, bars, shops etc. So all in all good place to spend the night but don't expect luxury or a hotel you'd enjoy spending time in your room... just get out and explore!

Putting the vintage car collection on entry aside, we were astonished to find a 4 star homemade bakery on premises. Both our room and the areas surrounding it were pristine and the staff lovely all around. Highly recommended and very good value!

Wonderful, homely place in a natural settting
Reviewed By Abena31Leaving was hard! We loved this place so much, from the location on the river surrounded by eagles and squirrels, to the food and wonderful service. The rooms were cleaned daily and were neat, modern and facing the river. What makes this place extra special is Aye, who is super kind, helpful and quite loveable! She made us feel so at home. The prices for everything were great and very affordable and, I would say a bargain. We had kayaks, bikes to use for free and hired a motorbike for 250 baht. We were a little out of town (5k) and far from local shops but that was the sacrifice we wanted to make in order to be on the river so we could kayak up and down bird watching and be close to the hot springs, which were awesome - porn rang. We would definitely come back and recommend it to all.

Reviewed By fantazonWir buchten kurzfristig und etwas unter Zeitdruck als Überbrückung für unseren Aufenthalt auf Ko Chang für 2 Nächte. Wir übersahen dabei die doch recht große Enrtfernung zu Busstation, Restaurants, ATM und Pier (zumindest ohne eigenes Verkehrsmittel). Wir wurden von der ersten Sekunde an positiv überrascht und belohnt: der supersupersuperfreundliche Manager und seine Frau holten uns abends von der Busstation ab, brachten uns zum Nachtmarkt, nächsten Tag zum ATM und Essen (das eigene Restautrant war noch geschlossen wg Vorsaison) und Bummeln, sowie zu ABreise an den Pier, wo sie sich auch noch um die Fahrkarten kümmerten!!; Rundumsorglos-Paket! Unterkunft tiptop-sauber und wunderschön in einem Garten mit Bach und Fischen sehr naturnah super-ruhig gelegen. Wir kommen wieder!

Reviewed By AcerspSurprisingly the Accomadation was pretty good and great value for money. It was in an ideal location for the ferry ride and/or Dive Liveaboards to Myanmar. The staff were eager to please even though their English wasn't great. The Restaurant wasn't bad and again eager to please. All in all a good experience with helpful staff and well appointed rooms.

Need transport but cute
Reviewed By EggChaserIt's a few kilomometres south of the town so transport is very useful. On first viewing the property was a little disappointing but it slowly grew on me, We stayed in the river view bungalow, the best room by far, with a seating area outside. The rooms were clean and modern and as expected. There is no breakfast but we took our own coffee and borrowed a kettle for the morning. The pool is small and was little use to us as the weather was poor. The staff were very friendly and helpful, advising us on where to go.
