Reviewed By Tigra82We chose this place mainly based on our budget and where we wanted to be, the location for us was perfect but the 'villaggio' itself was not. Apart from the old structure which could do with some renovating, the broken slabs by the pool and the lack of care from the staff (apart from RAFFAELLE who was brilliant), this place had hidden costs, around 60 euros extra for a 4 night stay. This was for bed linen, and the 'TESSERE' (membership card thing)per person, for using the pool etc! I was VERY shocked that they were asking extra money for use of the pool as we had NO idea this was going to happen. The old style structure with peeling paint we were happy to overlook as that didn't bother us at all (our 1 year old quite liked picking up all the little bits of paint ...!!), the broken slabs by the pool we just avoided as we had to be behind our toddler at all times anyway (these could be quite dangerous for slightly older children though, cutting through their delicate skin), Raffaele was really chirpy, helpful and always smiling however the other two were really grumpy and avoided talking to us whenever we were around the poolside. The WiFi is ONLY around the pool area (near reception), NOT in the apartments.

Reviewed By contento51Rooms were clean and spacious. The B&B is located on a road through a beautiful forest just 10 min. from the sea. The owners are kind and helpful. Dinners at the Osteria were delicious and very affordable ... not to miss! We loved our stay and highly recommend Il Rifiugio .

When you take a walk to the top of the hill you can enjoy a beautiful scenery of the green surroundings and lake Varano.The farmhouse itself has been renovated with great taste . Rooms are spacious and simply beautiful. The host , la signora Lucia is a best cook : we have enjoyed every single one of her home made meals… a culinary experience. And not to forget , their own olive oil is of very high quality and taste as well . Highly recommended for own use at home and for beautiful presents in its nice bottles and cans. We are going to be back as soon as we go back to the Gargano. After few days there you feel rested and full of energy.

Reviewed By Liliia CIt's a very nice place. The apartment was very clean. There is also a swimming pool,which is also very nice and clean. Mr. Michele was very kind. He explained us everything about this place. It takes only 2 km from the agriturismo to the sea side. We had a lot of fun there!

Very nice B&B with great breakfast!
Reviewed By Nomad810524We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at this small B&B right in the center of Vieste. Our room was quite spacious, very clean and comfortable. With the balcony doors closed the room was also pretty quiet, so we had a very good sleep. Airco is also available when it gets too warm. The owners and staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful. The B&B is easily reachable by car and car parking is available at a secure, paid (5 Euro per 24hrs), carpark some 5mins walking away and the B&B owner took us there the first time. The B&B is right at the base of the old part of the city, so very convenient for exploring the (small) city by foot. Breakfast was served in the room (probably due to the Covid measures) and was excellent with yummy cornettos, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and coffee. We would certainly stay here again when next in Vieste.

Worst BnB experience I have ever had - did not sleep because of dogs outside my door barking all night
Reviewed By linaluzTwo big German shepherds blocked the door to my room all the time, so I couldnt go in or out without having to brush past them, and if i wanted to go outside for a walk they followed me around the whole time and just wouldnt let me be. My cat of course, was terrified when each time I opened the door these big dogs were waiting there. And then, they barked all night long, so I did not sleep, at least not for more than an hour. Was up by six, but since breakfast wasnt scheduled till 8h30, I hung about and packed up (couldnt go out for a walk because of the rain and these two horrible dogs) Felt like a prisoner a tiny cell with one small window and too much furniture to move around in. Finally at 8h30 I went for my coffee, but noone around, nothing to eat, nothing to drink until about 9h30 when the owner finally got out of bed to turn on the coffee machine! I should not have had to pay 30 euros for such a horibble experience. Also ther
