What a magical place: breathtaking view over the jungle, the river and the sea, breathtaking organic food (best cake of the world!), super nice host and the ladies working there, perfect clean nice treehouses, all wooden with lovely art everywhere in the area, a really nice pool for swimmimg with the one million dollar view! No words can describe that beauty. Thank you so much! I will come again...

A fantastically friendly pousada on the perfect tropical beach
Reviewed By Capitano71Some things are so good, you want to keep them a secret. But that would be selfish. The Hanalei is a friendly, family-run pousada on one of Itacaré's best beaches – Tiririca. I booked it more or less blind and was delighted to find a pousada built of wood which gently blends into the surrounding forest. I woke up every morning excited at the prospect of a sumptuous tropical breakfast consisting of a daily special along with home-made cakes, fruit, bread and many other delights, all with a view of the sea. My room was pleasant with a good, quiet air con unit and a mosquito net – essentials in this part of the world. I also delighted in my little verandah, which boasted a hammock. My only regret is that towels are only changed every three days, but the Hanalei's friendly and welcoming vibe more than made up for that. I can whole-heartedly recommend them.

Wonderful stay
Reviewed By Ricardo KWe stayed for 4 days and had a great time. The rooms are well appointed and decorated, with all the necessary amenities and very comfortable beds. Very clean, with everything working properly. Fabi and Vincent were very caring and attentive and were always prompt in answering our questions and requests. The breakfast was excellent. Not exaggeratedly excessive, but with a lot of yummy options, which included freshly cooked tapioca, eggs/omeletes, home made cakes and juices. A very cozy and relaxing b&b in all aspects. Great service and beautiful grounds.

Reviewed By marioaA386EFPas très envie de partager ce havre de paix de peur de ne trouver de la place la prochaine fois… Flávio a été un hôte formidable avec plein d’attention et partageant toutes les bonnes adresses d’Itacare. la pousada est sans prétention mais décorée avec beaucoup de goût, tout fonctionne et la propreté est irréprochable. la vue est exceptionnelle et l’ambiance surf très relaxante. Nous avons passé une semaine géniale et nous n’avons qu’une hâte c’est de revenir Não querendo muito compartilhar esse recanto de paz por medo de não encontrar um lugar na próxima… Flávio foi um ótimo anfitrião com muita atenção e compartilhando todos os bons endereços de Itacaré. a pousada é despretensiosa mas decorada com muito bom gosto, tudo funciona e a limpeza é impecável. a vista é excepcional e a atmosfera de surf muito relaxante. Tivemos uma ótima semana e mal podemos esperar para voltar
