Reviewed By lf174If you have ever walked through Italian villages and wondered what it’s like to live in one of the little stone houses, then this is for you. Truly authentic with thick stone walls,two bedrooms and a kitchen, with a table in the centre of kitchen. There is a nod to development, electricity, running water, ceiling fans, tv, fridge/freezer. We didn’t do any cooking so don’t know what the gas hob works like. The owner, Manfredi is just lovely and so helpful. He met us at the port and walked us round to the house. He also helped us with restaurant recommendations. We loved our one night stay there. Air con would make it perfect although less authentic. For anybody with mobility issues there are five steps to get into the house. Also (booking.com does not make this clear) the charge for sheets/towels is €15 per person.

Reviewed By LauraWinterrThe location is perfect, very near to the habour, and the room is very nice. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working and even though there is a kitchen in the pictures on their website unfortunately there isn't any.

Reviewed By fithensenSoggiornato in una stanza al piano terra; letto scomodo, stanza ammobiliata con materiale raccattato qua e là, bagno spartano, sorta di condizionatore rumoroso ed inefficace, informazioni imprecise e fuorvianti sui servizi dell'isola (specie sull'efficiente e capillare trasporto pubblico locale, per cui siamo stati convinti ad essere recuperati al porto dal proprietario, ovviamente a pagamento), ospite della stanza anche un bel scarafaggio..per concludere: pagamento cash e assenza di fattura

Il proprietario è molto gentile e la casa impeccabile. This is an absolute must for a vacation on Salina island, in the heart of the oldest part of the town and right above the beach. I can not say enough about what a perfect position this is and how tranquil it is here. The owner is very kind and helpful and keeps the house immaculate.

The bed and breakfast "IL TUFO" is the result of the renovation of a historic building in the heart of Favignana . The palace was built entirely in tuff and the islands typical stone, extracted in several quarries spread throughout the country. The renovation has enhanced the constructive characteristics of the period. Our guests can benefit from en-suite bedrooms, three different types: standard, deluxe and superior first floor balcony to the ground floor. They can also have a small covered terrace . This is the ideal solution for spending long days at sea and devote himself to the discovery of the offer food and wine of the island, being able to walk or bike .

Upon arrival we've been greeted by our friendly hostess who explained everything we needed to know about the island in order to have a great experience. The room we stayed in was extremely clean, cosy and functional. Breakfast was very tasty and offered a lot of variety. Last but not least, the value for money is incredible! I wish I had booked it for the whole duration of the trip!

The residence has free bicicles And people can easily travel practically all around the Island and its beautiful, hidden beaches. The place is super clean, staff friendly ready to help with anything you may request. I will be visiting for a third time and it basically became an annual event for my friend and me. It is pět friendly as well. Four and half stars from me!
