Reviewed By peh2209We stayed for one night on our way from Koh Tao to Bangkok (we were getting the bus at 10am the next morning from Chumphon). The room was as it looked on the listing but there were a lot of these awful small bugs all over our room... in the bathroom, on the side table and on the bed, which made us very uncomfortable and itchy. The only way we managed to calm down the situation was to spray some deet around the room. Very dated hotel and not much around.

Reviewed By OliveGohValue for money. Photos makes the place look misleadingly bright and shiny. It is actually an old hotel so furnishings are dated but well maintained. Shower area does not have a curb to keep water inside so it splashes all over. Do not use the shower curtain as it may trip you up. The bathroom floor is very, very slippery. My husband slipped while soaping himself and nearly hit his head on the toilet bowl. There is a pretty courtyard where you can have breakfast. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Ample parking space.

Stopover to bangkok
Reviewed By Madisson SWe came here from Koh Phangan on the way to Bangkok. Wold recommend this hotel to stay. Rooms are comfortable, the WiFi is strong , it’s walking distance to the train station. Staff are really friendly - we had to check out at 12 but our train wasn’t until 10.50pm. Luckily the staff let us leave our bags here, when we came back to charge our phones they gave us a room and towels to have a shower before we left for Bangkok! Great service.

Reviewed By ASEvans22I spent a month living at Ecologic as Karma Yogi, it was a phenomenal four weeks where I felt welcomed by the team and took part in the fantastic work that they do through the Thai Child Development Foundation to support local children with learning difficulties. The yoga shala is so beautiful and it was a privilege to teach the guests during my stay, offering morning Hatha Flow and evening Yin Yoga lessons for all levels. The whole resort is so thoughtfully designed and in keeping with the natural environment, offering quiet places to relax in nature from where you can observe the impressive varieties of plant and animals species. The bedrooms are all beautiful, I was staying in the dormitory from where I could see the river and jungle beyond - it was a magic spot. The kitchen team are fantastic offering delicious, varied meals which make use of the organic produce from the Ecologic farm. The resort also offers a whole range of different activities for guests who want to rest and restore or for those who are looking for adventure and outdoor pursuits. I can't recommend this place highly enough, book your stay now!

Great Place & Close to the Pier to Koh Tao

And, to add that the staff and owner is unprofessional, has no infrastructure, and without facilities is even more ludicrous. Such a friendly, nice, and wonderful family owned property that shows great hospitality and goes out of their way to make sure your stay will be most pleasant. So, in our experience, if you are looking for a nice and clean stay prior to going over to Koh Tao, then for the price you couldn't be choosing a better place to stay. Remember, you are in Thailand and in a remote area!! Thank you "AH" for your great hospitality and for a wonderful one night stay prior to heading out :) We appreciate you being so nice, friendly, and accommodating.

Welcome to our friendly and quiet resort on Thung Wua Laen beach, Chumphon province (Middle South of Thailand.) 16 kilometers from Chumphon town along the thin Chumphon Thung Wua Laen route, surrounded by the healing air of the ocean and the native nature. A beautiful long beach of Chumphon province has white, fine sand, with small slope, which is suitable for swimming for adults and children. Also it is one of the most famous snorkeling spots in Chumphon. Here (except the big local holidays) is totally not crowded and every traveler can find a private healthy place for his body and soul. So if You need to recover or just to rest, please, make yourself at home on the beach! ;) If You need sport activity and want to fly - here is one of the best and safety place for easy Windsurfing and not far from here for Paragliding - just catch the fresh breeze. If not, simple jogging or walking on the beach can be perfect enough... Chumphon from Bankog is easy to reach with Airplane or Bus/Train (from all big cities). If we can not pick You up, please, use from the Airport the bus service (to Chumphon last office station and from there another bus to us - just let know the driver about), from the Train or Bus station - Local Car Service (day time) which is quite cheap. And there is always Tuk Tuk Taxi. WE ARE ALWAYS READY (when and where is not busy) TO ACCOMMODATE FOR SHORT and LONG TERM. If You would like to stay 1 week, we will apply 10% discount, for each additional week 5%. Our maximum discount is 20%. But if You will preffer to stay even more of 1,5 month, we will find a good price for You! We have in total 16 double room, and 5 triple. Have a good and safe Trip!
Nice bungalows near the beach
Reviewed By Jan PNice clean bungalows with AC, fridge, wifi, tv. Friendly staff, they clean the bungalow every day. No breakfast available. Across the road is the nice and quiet beach. ( the beach is noisy during the weekend ) A few restaurants and small shops nearby. The village with ATM, 7/11 shop and a small market is a 5 minute drive by scooter.
