Fabulous rooms, service and location!
Reviewed By A5179QBsoniabStayed there two nights on a deluxe room with a balcony with view on the harbour and loved it....money well spent. The room was beautifully decorated and super clean...with 360 view on thr harbour, its cafes and restaurants. Big thanks to Adonis for booking me a taxi and going the extra mile.Also to Kostas for helping me to get to my taxi. I highly recommend this hotel!!!!??

Charming .Stunning location
Reviewed By Rupert nCharming,small hotel in the historic old town.We had a lovely room with a stunning view across the harbour.Limited facilities but that suited us.The only negative issue we experienced was noise at night due to its prime location right above the harbour strip.We only stayed on Friday and Saturday night which may account ,in part, for this but visitors need to be aware if staying in any of the many harbour side hotels.

Dreadful beds, dirty bathroom
Reviewed By GroundedI had stayed in this hotel before and whilst it was basic the location is great and views from top floor excellent. However on this occasion the beds were so hard we coould feel the springs of the mattress pressing into our backs and we got no sleep and had sore backs. The bathroom floor and grouting between tiles is filthy and the shower area is so close to the loo you could wash your feet whilst doing a pee ! The reception staff are friendly and kind but, unfortunately, I will never stay here again - nor could I recommend it. If you cannot get a good night's sleep and if cleaning staff cant clean a floor properly - This property is very run down and needs a lot of updating.

Reviewed By elitsa26Μείναμε στο δωμάτιο με το στρογγυλό κρεβάτι...το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο και με πολύ ιδιαίτερη διακόσμηση!! Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση, οικονομική διανομή με πολυτέλεια!!! Το πάρκινγκ αν και σχετικά κοντά ήταν δύσκολο. Πολύ κοντά όμως στη παλιά πόλη, στα μαγαζιά της και το λιμάνι. Σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε!!!

Reviewed By 40jmkwell placed little place in town. surrounded by good restaurants and many bars. Good atmosphere and worth a visit. the old part of Chania town is well worth visiting its got a load of historical buildings and really scenic places to sit and look at.

Definitely Avoid this Hotel
Reviewed By trevorc312Absolutely terrible hotel. We stayed in early July for 3 nights as a family with two little kids when it was 35+ and the air conditioning did not work. In addition one of the beds was a pull out couch which was completely unusable since the sag was ridiculous. I ended up laying the mattress on the floor. The owner was rude and completely unapologetic to any of the issues. The place is completely rundown and is easily the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else! This place will ruin your stay in Chania..

The “Elia Portou Due” is a renovated traditional house in the heart of the old town of Chania. It is in one of the most popular alleys of the old Hebrew quarters, next to the south walls of the city and Lando, the circular rampart. Visitors have direct access to all the significant sights of the old town, like the Municipal Market, the Municipal Gallery, the Venetian harbor and can stroll around the alleys which take one on a journey through the centuries and the various civilizations that have influenced the island (Venetian, Turkish, Greek, and Arabic). The “Elia Portou Due” offers 4 bedrooms which can accommodate up to two people each and 2 two-room junior suites, which can accommodate 2-4 people. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, fridge, satellite TV, safebox, wi-fi and an espresso coffee maker. Some of the rooms are equipped with a jacuzzi for an even deeper relaxation in a hospitable ambience. The décor is modern, in harmony with the building, respecting the history of the area. If you have a car, you can use the parking areas in the surrounding streets but also the roofed parking space which is at about 300m from the hotel.

Helt okej
Reviewed By ymeriaBodde fem nätter på detta hotell och reste ensam. Var lite förvirrad över hur och vart jag skulle checka in, men blev trevligt bemött. Enkelt rum med delad dubbelsäng, sminkbord med spegel, hårfön, nattduksbord och en garderob. Köksdel med plats för att äta, litet kylskåp, kokplatta och enkla kökstillbehör. Ingen diskborste och diskmedel dock. Toalett med dusch där det var väldigt lågt i tak. Personer över 185 får nog problem att stå upprätt där inne. Städning alla dagar utom söndagar. Lakanen byttes aldrig under min vistelse. Liten balkong med bord och två stolar och möjlighet för torkning utav badkläder. Safetybox fanns i en utav garderoberna och ingick. AC ingick ej och jag fick ingen info om kostnad, men valde att inte fråga efter det trots att det var mycket varmt i rummet. Hade rum nummer 9 som låg på andra våningen, ingen hiss. Ganska lyhört ut i korridoren, vilket kan bero på att dörren var lite gammal och glipade här och där. Mycket nära till stranden. Störande trafik då hotellet ligger nära vältrafikerad väg. Även störande musik från baren i anslutande byggnad. Dock ingenting som störde mig alls, det var bara trevligt!
