Through experiencing Japanese traditional culture, you will also learn cultural history and the culture of hospitality called “Omotenashi”. “Sasagirian” is located in Kibogaoka, a space surrounded by mountains, greenery and flowers, and is a surprise for all who visit. With the guidance of each instructor, you will sense tranquil moments of “Wabi-Sabi” the Japanese sense of beauty. Some of the charms in Sasagirian include being able to sense and experience Japanese and Ryukyu style sweets in tea ceremony class, Okinawan tropical flowers in flower arrangement class, and the heart of Ryukyu in calligraphy class.

We spent he afternoon of my wife’s birthday learning the Tea Ceremony. What a great cultural and educational experience. The staff were so kind and the location was beautiful. We left with a sense of calmness. We now want to try the calligraphy and floral arrangement classes.

Very good access with a public bus, very good organisation of the whole "Ryukyu-Park", many shows to see with traditional dance, music, songs, clothes. The staff takes care about plants, ponds, traditional houses.
