We booked a room for days online my first time experience. Room was in the second floor and only one full bed for 2 people. I asked to changed rooms, but they were full. tiny, clean. it looks like cabin style. it is perfect for travelers in a budget, great price. No Wi-Fi in our rooms and no outlet to connect your laptop with 3 point. We have to go out to get reception for our phone. It is a very nice setting and beautiful place. I will recommend to book the rooms in the first floor, because it is hard to carried your luggage in the stairs and not help was available. Also the restaurant do not open until 8:30 am if you want something to eat. this hotel is close to every attractions and plenty of places to eat. They have a beautiful fountain in the patio and a gorgeous view. Sad the was not place to seat, no benches or chairs there or in any place.

Difficult to find even with satnav, no signs when near hotel. Service upon arrival very indifferent and we didn’t get the room reserved.(maybe an Expedia mistake? But still I would have expected some kind of goodwill gesture from hotel). For the price of the room, it was not good, I would have expected a much higher level of comfort. Dark, dirty, and uncomfortable old beds. Horrible paper dispenser in bathroom that made it look like a public toilet. Very noisy too you could hear people outside and in other rooms. The location is terrible: it’s on the “ugly” side of town. A good 15 min walk in down probably the most horrible and dirty street in Zacatlán and on Sunday it turns into a street market which is a nightmare to cross. The restaurant did look nice but we didn’t try it. Only positive was a nice hot shower. Don’t be deceived though, you can find might better options at a better price elsewhere. I’m sorry but I would not return or recommend this hotel.

this place is amazing, all tha people that work here do their best to make you fell confortable and relaxed, the river goes by the property with a wonderful relaxin sound, if you go in a weekend getaway with your couple, don´t hesitate to choose "luna" cabin, and in the afternoon ask tem tu turn on the fireplace, you wont regret it. this place has no wifi, no tv, so will actually rest, and enjoy ealking arround the forest, don´t forget your hiking shoes.

The service is great. Daniel, the Manager is very kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean, comfy and has an espectacular view of the mountains and town. The beds, linens and towels are good quality as well. Sounds are almost unexistant and it does feel safe. Great time!

We booked for two nights of our honeymoon, but the airless, claustrophobic suites made it impossible to sleep. We were so exhausted, we forfeited the money for our 2nd night -- plus lost a highly anticipated day in Zacatlán -- and drove home. (Someone needs to make the architect sleep in one of their rooms!) Though staff tried to find us an alternative, there was nothing they could do to overcome a room design with AC that left the first level freezing and the loft sleeping space stuffy and unbearable. Don't be fooled by the beautiful, stylish outdoor spaces. Avoid making the same mistake.
