中国では清潔な温泉
Reviewed By anben2015中国の友人がいい温泉に連れて行くというので、大連から高速で2時間くらいのところにある、熊岳温泉に一泊二日で行きました。1時間くらいのところにも温泉があるのですが、彼が行った中で、ここが一番清潔で雰囲気も良かったというので、連れて行ってもらいました。 5星ホテルになっていて、部屋も広いのですが、平日のせいか、宿泊客は20名もいなかったように思います。ホテルは数百人ほど宿泊できる規模ですが・・・。たくさんの露天風呂があり、温度もいろいろ違っています。外は0度以下でしたが、温泉に浸かっていたので、非常にリラックスできました。ここの温泉は、男女混浴なので、海水パンツが必要です。室内プールもありましたが、これは水泳帽が必要で、基本泳ぐ人向けのため、はいるのはやめました。レストランは最終オーダーが8時半でしたが、お客が少ないせいでしょうか？

This would be a 3 or 4 if gauged against only Chinese hotels, but there are plenty of western hotels in China and 2 stars is generous in that company. The staff are very nice & helpful. The food is excellent. Price is reasonable... but, the room is old and not that clean. The climate control is impossible to understand and the room goes from too hot to freezing and then back. The shower is hard to figure out. Paint is pealing. Black mildew on the ceiling. Like much of China the place appears to be crumbling apart. It's a huge building with hardly any guests and I expect few functioning rooms. This place was not built to last.

Empty hotel with minimal facilities
Reviewed By gzauThe Howard Johnson is quite a nice hotel in terms of construction. It is however stands alone in the middle of an empty area with not much and it. The lobby was cold and there were almost no guest stood. They did not even have lights on in many areas so it was kind of spooky. For example I had breakfast and for the engineer hour I only saw 2 other guests. My room was cold as the Windows insulation is not great and it was -12C outside.They did bring me a space heater which made it ok. The staff speaks minimal English. Stay here if you have business very close by but I would recommend going you another hotel more in town

Reviewed By paulharrison58I stayed here for a week while in the town on business. I was given a room to the front of the hotel overlooking a busy main road. The standard of the room was great but noise from road traffic too high for me so I asked to be moved to a quieter room to the side of the hotel. My only complaint with the room is that there was no information book so finding out where the hotel facilities were located was difficult. Food was fine, there is a buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and a restaurant providing dinner. I tried a couple of times to visit the restaurant but on each occasion due to being on my own was directed downstairs to a room of my own which was a very strange experience. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel apart from communication issues as there are very few employees who cold speak English. This made things like check in or ordering food and drink very difficult. Also check out was complete chaos. Lots of people behind the desk but with none looking as if they knew what they were doing. It took ages to settle the bill.

Reviewed By mrshannStayed here for 3 nights. Room is large but smells of smoke and floors smell musty. No bar at hotel, just a small coffee shop Breakfast is basic but ok. If you want to find somewhere to eat, the Wanda plaza is a short taxi ride away. I would stay again but I think hotel needs to look at what they offer

Easy things could be fixed
Reviewed By Mme_XQuick summary: I assume that this hotel is also called or has been called the Fortune Center Plaza Hotel. It is at the same address as the Fortune Tang, and Tripadvisor referred me here. While the sleep quality was comfortable enough, there are too many other things that need better management to want to stay here again. Room 1206 has two double beds that are comfortable enough, but felt a bit cramped. It looked out over a main business district, and was quiet. The nighttime colored lights in nearby buildings are jazzy, especially the government offices next door. The room was quiet. In many ways, the hotel is a step down from other business-class hotels i've stayed in when in China, and there should be some better options now that Yingkou is slated for development. To start: ther are fewer of the amenities you'd expect in a good business class hotel: no robes, no English language channels on the TV, no iron, no hair conditioner, no facial tissues, no pen/pencil with the writing pad at the telephone. Weird bedside lighting. The shower (no tub) does not have good water pressure. The tiles in the shower were poorly laid and ajar -- a problem also in my colleague's room. Cheap, thin towels. They charged for bottled water (the only time in my China trip where a business class hotel did so.) Buy it at the many nearby stores. Basic, good hotel management practices are lacking. Housekeeping kept the room clean enough, but left only one small roll of toilet paper at a time. We ran out every day, had to call the desk every day because housekeeping spoke no English. They brought ONE roll, which we ran out of again by the end of the next day. Even the desk staff barely spoke English. We found that if the desk did not understand, he/she would ask the nearest Western-looking guest in the lobby to help translate ("toilet paper -- paper for bathroom...") One time they deployed one of my colleagues: when we called the desk one time, she explained that the giggling we heard in the background were other staff members who found the situation funny. There is a safe in the room, but the instructions are so compicated that I didn't try. The joke: if you don't set it correctly, an alarm goes off. We heard more than a few such alarms go off during out 2-night stay -- obviously, others couldn't figure it out, either. The storage space was not helpful. There were two large closets, but only one had a bar for hanging things -- the other was a big, completely empty box. There might have been drawers behind the large locked case, but since we were never given a key, who knows? The breakfast spread was reasonably good, but less fruit than I usually see at a good breakfast spread (good vegetables, though!) However, I did not like the look of the made-to-order eggs, but did not feel I could communicate to the chef to try to get him to cook teh eggs how I'd like them. Basic operations at breakfast could be better. The tables where you sit are in a nice lounge area, but the waitstaff did not keep up with putting down placemats. On our table of 4 coleagues, one had a placement, and no staff ever noticed. I get the sense that the hotel was the subject of some -- carrying-on. Each room had an extensive list of the replacement cost of almost every item in the room, from the remote control to towels, chairs, lamps, etc. and etc. Believe me -- none of it was Rtiz quality. There also seemed to be some "nighttime" activity that could make some feel unfortable. It seemed that there were more than a few men with women who were not their wives. My younger, attractive colleague was ogled uncomfortably in the elevator. On a previous trip, a group at the bar tried to stick him with a high-priced bottle bill when they asked to sit down with him. If you must kareoke, try the KTV down the street - it seems to have less "social activity." To sum up: while this place could be decent, management and the overall situation are not up to good practices. Try to find a better place.

Reviewed By 提水坐落在植物园旁边，早上起床可以去植物园逛逛；大堂等公共空间装潢的十分考究，瓷器、编钟、哈雷摩托车等等都添彩不少。房间也比较整洁，双人床比较大，一家三口睡觉也没问题；员工的服务态度也算热情，但是早餐种类如果能多点就更好了。公共交通不够便利，有自己的免费停车场，适合自驾游。
