Reviewed By suburbanfarmerNot much more to add that’s already been said. Massages are generic but a good experience. Thermal baths a must. Dinners are a bit tedios after a few days as the lunch menu is the same. Walk to Yanque for a coffee and get a taxi to look around Chivay. Chivay has a lot going on!

Reviewed By karensQ1360EJOur trip was rearranged a couple of times due to travel difficulties. the staff at the lodge was so obliging working with us. Our room was perfect, large with a big bathroom and a lovely terrace. The meals were good, well cooked and substantial.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Service a bit slow but still at reduced capacity following the pandemic so understandable. A real highlight of our trip around Peru. ?

Reviewed By can aNice rooms with private bathroom (hot water and pression ok). Calm place, off centered. Breakfast and lunch were incluided and were regular. Dinner, beverage and the restaurant of the hotel in general are very expensive, much more than we found in Peru. If you book a visit or a tour with them, well check the vehicle has condition air.

Wonderful B & B in Yanque Peru
Reviewed By Getaway823827I spent 2 nights at Miskiwasi B & B in December 2021. Everything was wonderful. I hightly recommend this place. The room is comfortable and the food is fantastic. Elar is very helpful with any plans, including hiking and biking in the area.

Everything is new and we were pleased with the beds, linens, and breakfast, plus there was plenty of hot water in the shower! Jergen, Danny, and Antonia were so kind and helpful. The natural hot springs are about a mile away--take advantage of them--they are a nice treat and just 15 soles per person. This hostal is just over from Killiwasi, a farm separates the lodges. We ate cena completas in 2 restaurants in town--I wish I could remember the names of the places, but every local place seems to have excellent, freshly prepared food at a great price.]

Reviewed By jameshX6244ULRooms were very untidy. When we complained they switched us to a different room and said it was one of their best. The room seemed a little cleaner until we went into the bathroom and the toilet was leaking all over the floor. Went to shower just to find that there was no hot water. We went to bed just to get this night over and leave. It’s been a long time since we have been in such a terrible hotel. We complained about all the maintenance problems just to be told they would make note of it. Never again.

A peaceful break from the crowds
Reviewed By 986quentinpOur stop in Yanque was supposed to last just a night as a quick stop before the colca canyon. But instead, thanks to the advice of our host at Sumaq Wayra hostel, we decided to stay for an additional day. And what a good decision ! The lady told us about a hike that we could do around the village and arranged it with a guide ; an elder of the village that knows EVERYTHING as his grandfather participated to the discoveries of pre-incas ruins and artifacts in the area. He continued the work of his grandfather and take care of a small museum in his own house etc... We spent 4~5 hours the 3 of us and it was really great !
