This is by far the best stay in Vashist.. the host Jatin gave his 200% to make sure my stay is pleasant and comfortable. 1. Room and location.: It gives a complete 200 degree view of Manali river and it's peaks. I would miss waking up to the gorgeous view this place offers. Bathrooms are very neat and clean and it is made sure that it is cleaned on regular basis. 2. Activities : there are games, pool table and many music instruments available.. so the evenings are absolutely lit with jamming sessions... 3. Food : you will get best of both, Indian and continental cuisine here..very fresh and just home like. I am going to be in a hangover once I reach Bangalore.. ? but happy that I would be visiting again in few months.....

We wanted to stay for another 2-3 months , but had to head back home for an emergency . The view from the room, the private kitchen, the private balcony, the room itself were perfect ! Chhape Raam sir and his family were the perfect hosts . They were so warm and hospitable , that my wife and I literally never wanted to leave the place .. the wifi is great, perfect for working from home . Chhape Raam sir and Amar sir assist you with anything that you need . If you wish to stay in the mountains , this is the place you need to stay at ! we can't wait to come back and stay here again

Two stars, just for the new property
Reviewed By Sunanda BIt's not a hotel. It's more of a bed and breakfast type, ok-for-one-night type accommodation. We booked the family suite just for one night on our way to Leh. Family suite is good and big and secluded-it looks good in pictures, because things are still new. And yes, it's on the third floor! The rooms are average. All the linen was dirty. The staff is either overworked or underpaid because they give you a lousy service. And yes the guy who was assigned to us kept complaining about his back ache... Perhaps in the hope of not getting more work from us. Now some positive... It may prove to be good for a solo traveler, also because of the economical price.

Mahadev Cottages is one of the lucrative accommodation for the travelers in the beautiful hill station Manali. The cottage offers ample space for car parking. The cottage has 6 well furnished rooms with view of river beas, snow peaks and Rohatang Valley.

Reviewed By BhupinderG26Stayed in the hotel that is sold as a cottage on 10th July 2021. Called the hotel from Mandi and asked for the location and that was a nightmare. For a 30min ride from Kullu it took 2.5hrs because hotel had sent an incorrect location. More worst experience when we checked-in; luggage was just being taken out of the vehicle and hotel person asked to pay for the stay without even showing the rooms. To add to worst; two rooms were given 304 and 307. Literally had to do lot of movement. Two elder people in the group were made to walk upstairs 3 floor. Extra bedding was requested and came at 11:30PM. Ordered food that too ages to come and kids went to sleep waiting for food. At checkout even though b'fast was included had to pay the bill. Entertainment was not even seen and we had to request to have staff put something on the TV that kids could watch. Sleepless night is what we received as return-gift. Think twice before making a reservation at this so-called cottage. Hotel is fooling people with cottage in the name. Owner does not even know the difference between Hotel and Cottage.
