We had the family-sized Albatross room(s) with an enormous terrace overlooking the beach - perfect for relaxing while watching the sun set after a busy day. The rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated, and staff were friendly. My only criticism is that the breakfast buffet attracted flies - a cover on the fruit salad would help. This hotel is quite expensive in peak season, but well worth the stay.

Nel centro del Borgo Saraceno nel cuore di Varigotti. Location veramente splendida con il rumore del mare dalla finestra. Gestori gentili e molto disponibili. Un appartamento che ti garantisce comodità e quel pizzico di lusso per affacciarsi e vedere direttamente il mare.

Reviewed By flepsFriendly people. Perfectly organized for families with children. All inclusive price with beach service. Five minute walk from a nice beach. Quiet village. Old building, but recently refurbished with 'gusto'. The restaurant offers consistently good food. Rooms are a bit small.

Expensive for not much
Reviewed By TripMember020920162This hotel is in a great location and has some limited open air parking nearby. We stopped there on spec and were disappointed to pay 150 euros for a room that had no air conditioning at all and a shower better suited to an anorexic model than a height and weight proportionate 6 footer. Security for me was a major fail as our passports were left unattended in the reception area in plain view after they had been left there to be scanned. Whilst Varigotti is not a hot bed of crime leaving important travel documents unattended is inexcusable. Likewise key security is lax and anyone can enter the reception area that is frequently unmanned and help themselves to any key very easily. Overall not a bad hotel for an overnight stop but poor security and not very good value.

Wonderful Place to Stay
Reviewed By sslooperSuite Varigotti is a gem of a B&B. Located near the end of the main drag in Varigotti, Suite Varigotti is literally across the street from the beach (and access to the beach). We liked that it was a few minutes' walk from the opposite end so that we could walk off dinner or just have a nice passegiatta. Suite Varigotti is quiet and the proprietor, Fabio, is a generous and thoughtful host. Breakfast each morning was abundant and delicious. His advice for Things to Do was well curated, and the entire space is as clean as a whistle. Towels were fluffy and large, our room was tidied every day, and Fabio directed us to free parking which is located just behind the building. Recommended for folks who don't need a bar or restaurant on the premises and just want some R&R. Will definitely return!

Decent residence
Reviewed By SeH215We went there for a longer weekend as a family of four. It is the place where families with babies or smaller children go. The coach/bed is not adequate for adults. Nice view over sea and mountain. People nice and helpful. The payable Internet service is the minus of this place. They have arrangements with beach services of high quality.

The hinterland of Liguria is considered the paradise of mountain biking, trekking and climbing.

Poter godere della spettacolare vista fra ulivi cielo e mare, con una leggera brezza e in sottofondo il fruscio delle onde del mare è un privilegio che pochi possono godere ed apprezzare. Gli appartamenti sono favolosi, rustici, ben curati ed accessoriati nei minimi dettagli. Per non parlare dei spazi comuni, della piscinetta agli orti dove poter raccogliere verdura da cucinare al momento. Insomma tutto perfetto. Vi meritate tutti i complimenti possibili.
